When people ask for your hips measurement, it's just a nice way of saying ass, so your hips would be 37.

Haha, really? Because I measured pretty low.
I thought it might help in some way, to know the measurement, perhaps just to ensure I find a way to keep the binder from rolling up.

On a somewhat related topic...does anyone have or know of a binder that won't scream "binder" if someone sees it? I generally wear them under other clothes but a fun time on a trampoline let a girl catch a glimpse of my old one, and the shiny appearance of the spandex made her use the word "under armor". Anything out there that could pass as a relatively normal (albeit tight-fitting) undershirt? Or one that has sleeve holes that dip a bit lower for use with sleeveless shirts?

The tritop I have (the older model, a little shorter than the new one) still screams "binder" or at least "sports bra" (ick)...

But the 974 "The Cotton Concealer Compression Muscle Shirt - Disguised Inner Panels for Powerful Compression" from underworks is amazing, and does not look like a binder AT ALL.

I borrowed my friend's until my tritop came in, and although the 974 doesn't bind as flat, it's incredibly comfortable, and looks just like a muscle shirt. The binding layer inside is tight to your skin, but the shirt layer outside is loose so it flows over the curves/lumps and looks really natural. But like I said it doesn't bind quite as flat, so it probably wouldn't work as well for really big chests.

This.  It would probably work fine for someone who is smaller chested, and/or under a fairly stiff button-up shirt.  But it doesn't bind very much better than a good sports bra.  They also make a cotton concealer A-shirt.

Since this was of someone's joyfum moment I thought it would be cool to continue the idea--got my new binder in today to replace the one my mother "misplaced" while I was moving.

Got an underworks 988, looks like a normal undershirt with top compression only, the rest looks like a normal cotton tshirt...and I'm jumping for joy. I definitely have the "pec look" but some of that will go away when I start T and lose some weight (currently 145lb-ish at 5'3"). Only negative I see is it's top compression only so I still have hips and whatnot...but my frame has never been hourglass so it still looks straight to me.

I'm going out, right now...I just need to show off right now :D

My topside happiness is a little closer to completion, finished only when I chop em off and can wear a wifebeater/go barechested comfortably.

WHEE!

I also have the 988 from underworks. Although the full body compression would have been nice to hide my slightly "hourglass" figure I opted for the top only because I live in New Mexico and knew I wouldn't be able to stand that much compression in the heat. My chest is 36" and the size small works fine, very tight and at first I wondered if I'd ever get it on but it's stretched out a bit now and works great.
What kind of under armor shirts give good compression without keeping in a lot of heat?

That cotton muscle shirt thing sounds interesting. I've been thinking about binders a lot lately and well, you can't just mash 'em flat and expect 'em to go away, they just end up looking like boobs, mashed flat boobs. I was thinking, what about some kind of shirt that would flatten 'em a bit but also shape 'em more into something like pecs? Bio-men can have a lot of mass in their pecs, even guys who are not that muscular elsewhere.

The other sure fire method I know of is to do a lot of running, like a 5K every other day, that and weights will lower body fat a lot and just plain jiggle the fat off, lol it's true.

I don't know, my tritop makes me look like I've got manly pecs. The key is that after I put it on, I put my hand in through the arm hole, grab the moob, and pull it up and out to flatten it. After doing that on both sides, it totally looks like pecs. Although I've heard some people say that down and out works better for their body type. But I also have fairly small moobs (like big A/small B, or something), but who knows, it's probably different for guys with bigger ones.

if you CANT hold a pencil under them, then pull em up and flat.  (this is especially important if you want peri in the end because its the least damaging way of binding since it wont stretch your skin down)

if you CAN stick a pencil under there and hold it and theres a definite crease, mash em down.

32oz? Holy crapbags, man!

I don't know if I'll be able to get a peri. I assumed that they had to be *really* small for that, and even though I know that statistically mine aren't all that big, they seem ginormous to me, so I figured they'd be too big for peri (and I can just *barely* hold a pencil if I lean forward and let the moob-to-gut distance close a bit... lol). But someday, when I'm actually able to start looking for a moob-chopper-offer, I'll find out if I'd qualify for peri or not. That would be wicked if I do...

Wish I did...I've been cursed with the family "endowment"

I'm just hoping the scarring won't be too bad when I finally do lop em off.

Also, having an issue not with the fact that theyre not compressing enough, because they are...but my entire chest area seems to not fall as straight down as I like.
