Before voting, make sure, is it bone you are feeling wider? or is it fat around it?

Would you volunteer hips waist bust measurements?
Would you write your age? also the age of starting hrt?

I am interested in the statistics as people said they are quite sure they had bone growth.

I remember reading somewhere the hips bones don't really ever fuse untill 30s or 40s if at all.
I can't remember where I read it, so I can't get the source, sorry.

I will start with mine:
I started at age 19 but had to stop estrogens after 3-5 months, continued antiandrogens, restarted estrogen about 2.5 months ago.

I am not sure if the bones themselves widened but they look quite wide, not as wide as my mother, I am quite sure the hips looks different than before HRT, could be bones and fat or just the one.

measurements are 34/26/34(33?) h/w/b

H/W/B - Hips/Waist/Breast? I thought most places listed them as B/W/H. Look at any model listed on Wikipedia, they are all listed that way. It is the way I posted mine on the other thread.

hmm I'll reverse it then for the sake of this thread 39-29-35

32/30/40 and not a bit of fat on my body.  I started HRT at 19 and was on it for years.

I do believe the HRT affected my bone growth in my hips.

EDIT: My numbers were underbust, waist, hips
Ill no longer be defined by my condition. From now on, I'm just, Kate.

Ms.Behavin

well I have padding but no bone growth, but then I was 50 when I started hrt.

I would Kill for hips.  But I do have a nice Butt/ backside which I am tickled pink about.  thanks Mom.  partly due to the hips tilting back a bit.  It happens to some I hear.

Yay for insomnia! :-\

Yet to be determined I guess, but for the sake of adding numbers:

I'm 25, I started HRT ~4.5 months ago, height is 70" B-W-H is 39*-33-41.  I have more weight to lose but I'm getting there so I do hope my waist will continue to get smaller.  If I press a finger at the widest point on my hips there isn't much "padding" at all, almost nothing compared to my waist.

*So I guess the dumb question from me, since I seem to be seeing it two different ways for this ratio online, is the bust measurement supposed to be under or at the fullest?  I measured at the fullest...

Bust is at the fullest.

I'm confused about hips -- are we talking hip bones or widest part of the hip area?  Because I get wider below the actual hip bones.

Traditionally you measure around the widest part of your hips (butt) The legs being farther apart is a sign of lower pelvis growth so you must be pretty feminine..

Damn you girls are curvier than me.

Thanks that's what I was wondering... except that I don't have the ass to go with the 'hips', yet :(.  It's just wide where the leg bones connect to the pelvis or something?  Hopefully HRT will give me something in back :P.

Underbust is directly below the breast. Bust is the breast.
Like you calculate bras (well, generally) it's underbust +4/5 (even/uneven) to get bra band, then every additional inch of the bust to the band number is a cup.

I am not sure who here said the legs are farther apart? I think she just said there is more fat below the bone itself? (around the thighs)

I don't know about legs being father apart, but I did say I get wider below my hip bones.  And it's not fat around the thighs because I'm skinny -- I *wish* I had more fat on my thighs!

My mother, grandmother and friend all have it bone at the sides, not fat.
I dobut we get fat at the sides, only at the back, but maybe.

They have wider hips than shoulders.
Measuring around my shoulders is about 38-40 (hard! tape keeps falling), around the hips it's 33-34. have quite a difference!

Personally I am not sure if mine is wider than men or not, definitely has fat at the back but not at the sides.
Then again, I am a bit overweight also, and most of my fat is still around the waist so who knows what the next months of HRT will do.

I hope to have the pelvis bone grow a bit more :)

Edit: btw ketsy, would you volunteer your meaures?

WITCH...with a B!  :icon_chuckel:

LOL I used to get that back then.  I remember telling a co-worker about my male past during the time I was "coming out" to others in an attempt to be more authentic in my relationships.  She commented that even though I was really tall, she had a hard time believing it because I had such wide hips - which she wasn't used to seeing on guys.

Unfortunately what used to be a boon to my femininity now is a bane.  My wife HATES my big hips and HATES is not strong enough of a word.  She isn't mad or me or anything, she just wishes I had more masculine hips.

I intentionally wear clothing to minimize them now.
Ill no longer be defined by my condition. From now on, I'm just, Kate.

Oh I forgot to post current measurements after my other other question was answered - I'm 26 and this is pre-HRT:

'Hips' - 37
Waist - 27
Bust - ???

I don't have boobs yet!  I'm thinking 36-ish would be ideal.  Waist used to be 29 but I got it down with a little stretching.  'Hips' will hopefully go up if HRT gives me some behind - and of course there's the possibly of the mythical bone growth that may or may not happen.

I'm 22, with about 5 months of HRT.

B- 36
W- 29
H- 37

My chest used to be a 38, waist 32, hips have stayed the same.

My latest measurements, taken about a week ago.

Height - 69
Weight 143 (as of this morning)
Shoulder Circumference - 42in
Overbust - 35in
Bust - 34in
Underbust - 32in
Waist - 27.5in
Hips - 35.5in

I wanted to include my a couple extra, to give you a better picture.  My shoulders are a little big, but I got a bit lucky and broke my collarbone back in highschool (nasty fracture - snowboarding accident) and one bone healed on top of the other, by about an inch.  My left side is visibly shorter than the right.  Lucky I guess (albeit a bit unsightly).

My underbust used to be 34 or 35, it went down quite a bit.
