Post to be deleted and we all pretend we didn't see it in 3... 2...

Ok seriously though, I think it's a shame susans doesn't let us talk about these things.

We could have discussed why you've chosen to take whatever action you've decided to take, what if any better options there might have been.

But as it stands, I expect this to become what will be the 4th thread I've seen simply vanish in my short time posting here.

I'm sure you're doing what you feel you have to do, I wish you luck.

My only advise is to not give up on finding a legal way to achieve what you have to, and to make things as safe and informed for you as you can while you don't.

Is it actually illegal or illegal in the sense that we can't talk about it on this forum?

"I have always wanted to have a neighbor just like you,
I've always wanted to live in a neighborhood with you.

So let's make the most of this beautiful day,
Since we're together, we might as well say,
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?
Won't you be my neighbor?" - Fred Rogers

Meaning you self medicated?

Though discouraged, I think quite a few on these boards have done that method before.

And it will continue to happen as long as medical "professionals" think they have a right to play god with our lives. Making us jump through their hoops "for our own good". Mistakenly believing they have any idea what it's like to be us because they're read documentation written by other "experts" like them that they came up with simply by observing us.  ???

Self-medication is an unfortunate reality, and I think it's unfortunate that we're not allowed to discuss it even casually in the open.

I'm on the boat.  Stupid, risky, brave, unfortunate? You can all give your opinion. I can say for my sake it is a necessary choice and I don't live with regrets either. I do what I feel I need to do. I will not speak more of it because it is a touchy subject here and I don't want to break any rules. I respect the place too much to abuse my privileges.  :eusa_silenced:

Though a touchy subject, talking about self-med is alright, so long as stipulations A, B, or C in Rule 8 of the TOS are not violated in the process:

Quote8. The discussion of hormone replacement therapy(HRT) and it's medications are permitted, with the following limitations:

      A. Advocating for or against a specific medication or combinations of medications for personal gain is strictly prohibited.
      B. Discussing the means to acquire HRT medications without a prescription, and self medication without a doctors care is prohibited.
      C. Discussing dosages is strongly discouraged to prevent information obtained on this site from being used to self medicate.

We can not in good conscience condone the self administering of these medications. Not only may self medication be illegal, but HRT medications can cause serious health problems, and many have the potential for life-threatening side effects that can only be detected and prevented with proper medical supervision.

Hi Bellaon7

The rules are to protect others. We have a large range of people on the forum from many backgrounds and ages. I believe that recommending professional help is the way to go. What we do as individuals is for us to deal with.

My point is not everyone's offspring are a bunch of inept idiots. I did my homework, took care of myself & did it well. Maybe someone else's kids won't be as carecful? But we can't even talk about that! Screw me, I'm 40, I'm not the issue! I'll be fine, but there are many others that won't.
