Makeup is nice, I don't really like "girly" makeup on girls, I prefer the more shady, simple.. just do the eyes makeup. not cover the whole friggin face.

I wish I could wear makeup.. Just eyes I mean, sometimes I wear eyeliner(guyliner) or some red, or brown under my eyes... kinda stage makeup like someone said, it gives illusions and stuff

I wish I could wear more makeup and still pass, I can't wait untill I'm on T then I can wear more makeup and still pass, maybe

My interest in make-up is something I share with most females. I only wear gothic make-up, but it can sometimes be used as other than gothic. I'm trying to find a store that sells that new mascara that's rounded at the end

I wear make-up..but still consider myself male :P

I suppose that makeup could be useful for anybody, regardless of gender, to conceal blemishes, etc., if desired.

Beyond that, I think that makeup should be seen as something that is available to everybody as a means of creative self-expression, but not something that is expected of anybody.

Regarding the idea of "guys shouldn't wear makeup": I can see how this would be appealing to many men and women, along with strict gender role separation in general.  However, looking at the ever-increasing options available to women, I don't think that general social acceptance of men wearing makeup would be a bad thing any more than women not wearing makeup, women wearing pants/trousers, women doing jobs traditionally done by men, etc. has been.  These advancements in what is socially acceptable for women are a good thing, in my opinion, and it is disappointing to see men still mostly boxed into the same tiny set of gender-based expectations that they always have been.  Obviously, people will continue to have their own personal preferences for their own partners and friends, but I hope that in the future people in our society will be more accepting of people who would like to do things differently.

Makeup on guys- queer.
Makeup on women- don't understand why they exaggerate so much and how they avoid smearing it all over everything.

Good for mtfs to fit into the gender role.

In general, I've pretty much avoided it with the "makeup is for clowns" reason.

Stage makeup is a good idea though.

Make up has its uses, I have an open mind when it comes to make up on men but believe the less is more thing for either gender.

With make-up I am rather traditional with it's use. I don't like it on males, and wouldn't like my partner to wear it.

I must admit I am confounded with the whole "natural look" thing with makeup.  If you want the natural look, don't wear makeup!  When I wear makeup, I'm going to make it dramatic, dammit!

Anyway, I usually don't wear makeup anyway because it's hard to put on (well, eyeliner is) and I barely have time to get fully dressed in the morning, let alone struggle for half an hour in front of the mirror (not to mention that wearing makeup every day would wreak my passability).  I mostly like lipstick and eye makeup, especially eyeliner.  I really like a goth look, both in myself and others, although other styles can be wonderful if rendered effectively.  And we'll leave on the note that more guys need to wear eyeliner because it's really sexy on a lot of them.
