I'm just starting this, but I'm so excited by what I see I want to share.  I had been using Estraderm patches, but started having TIAs (small strokes) and decided at my age I should be in menopause anyway.  My breasts are size 'AA' and a small 'B' cup.  I had been looking at the Brava breast enhancement system.  It cost over $1000, but refurbished units are about $500 on ebay, or $300-400 for used.  I got to looking a Noogleberry out of England.  Their system varies depending on what you get.  I got closed cell foam (to make a soft sealing ring), an extra large cup, and a nipple enhancement kit for $68 delivered.  It came in four days.  The cup is hugely too deep, but that's what I needed for width to cover the one side.  I want to balance my breasts.

It's unbelievable!  My small breast goes into it about an inch (it has graduation marks on the cup).  I put like five squeezes on the pump and my breast shoots out to 2.25" height and doubles in volume in about two seconds.  I'm having some problems with slow leaking, but the foam, shaving the seal area, and some lotion should help.  10 hours a night for 12 weeks is supposed to make a permanent change.  I can't seem to put too much vacuum on the breast, you know to make the skin break; the nipple thing could hurt you.  The cups are big.  I remember reading a woman using Brava saying she could barely turn around in the kitchen without hitting the cupboards.   Last night I slipped into the bathroom and hit the door trying to go through.  It was pretty funny.  I'm so excited.  I'll let you know how it goes.

Interesting.  You will definitely have to keep us informed as to your progress and how the results are.  Will this be long term or just a short term thing?  Does it or can it hurt breast tissue?  I looked a the site and I am intrigued.

QuoteIn the first phase of wear, the initial increase that you will see is made up of mostly swelling with a very small amount of lasting tissue growth. However, as you continue to use The BRAVA System, real tissue growth will slowly being to take place and by the end of treatment, there is a greater proportion of true tissue growth to swelling.

I guess if estradiol isn't an option it would be worth trying, but it sounds pretty ouch-a-rific to me. These nonhormonal/nonsurgical boob enhancers are usually quackery though. If this actually worked genetic women across the world would flock to them and there would be a special version for us that cost twice as much and needed a letter to buy  ::)

You're right Becca.  They would definetly try and monopolize it, tax it, and keep it for themselves.

Seriously there is a lot of research on it.  Brava is FDA approved and (like you say) almost exclusively provided through doctors at an exhortitant prices. 8)  I'm obviously not a Brava sales person, none-the-less if you want to look up the research http://www.mybrava.com/home.asp.  There are several outside studies as well.  It's called tissue tensioning.  It has been done for years to lengthen bones etc..  In fact that's why SRS uses a dialator.

I did use Estradoil for many years.  My tissue level is what it peaked out at.  So I'm working on improving those results.

It feels pretty intense when you first pump it up.  I wouldn't say it was painful, but after the first couple times of pumping it was not unpleasant at all.  Remember it had been a week since I had shaved the area so it was leaking down every ten to fifteen minutes.  I slept for quite a while, every time I woke up I would pump it a few times till I got maximum suction.  I think if you can sleep through it there can't be much pain.  I've used nipple vacuums before to induce lactaion.  That can not only be painful but cause the tissue to weap.  It took days to heal.  This morning when I got up the only thing I noticed was a fuller breast and a red circle below the breast where the cup pressed against the skin.  That was gone about as fast as a bra mark would fade.  I know I get technical, forgive me it's the engineer in me.

I sincerely hope you diodn't spend $1000 or even hald that fo rhe breast pumps that cost about $20 online?

And if they are making such dramatic effects you have to ask what is actaully happening as breast material is really sort of slow growing flesh stuff.

You are pulling the skin out and body fluids are filling it up.
Has anyone heard of long term effects from this?
And as you have been expereincing mini strokes what is the effcet of messing with the body fluid flow with this pump thing?

As I said in my previous post tissue tensioning is well documented.  It causes cells to divide to lesson the tension.

I've been trying different methods to get the vacuum to remain longer.  Nairing the hair off really helped.   Don't get any on your nipple! I tried to make a seal ring more shaped to my chest wall with gel epoxy and Syran wrap.  It sort of worked but got really hot and lightly burned my girl.  I think I know how to prevent that but I was disappointed in the results.  I'll try something new tonight.  I attached the foam to the cup with Silicone rubber.  That was a bust.  I used Silicone II, a product I hate almost as much as GE it's maker.  The stuff never really sets up so its a poor adhesive.  Besides the air pressure outside wants to push the foam under the cup and in.  I'm not sure this will ever work well.  I've got other ideas though.  I'll let you know

So now I have come up with a new method to make the breast cup fit me better.  Last night I buttered my breast and then spackled it with a thick layer of Plaster of Paris.  It has to be at least 1/4" thick or it will break.  After about thirty minutes you flex a little and it pops loose.  There will be little pockets of air.  Make some more Plaster and fill the holes.  Wipe it down with a wet rag to smooth it.  Finally smooth it some more with wet finger tips.  If it cracks you can put it back to gether with super glue, epoxy for bigger sections.  Put plenty of plaster on any thin spots and let it dry over-night.  Today I lined the mold (a negative image of my breast) with Syran wrap, wraping it behind the mold to keep the edges out of the way. Butter or Crisco might have worked too. I made a really big batch of plaster and filled the mold out to the edges 3/8" thick.  When it is set up pull on the Syran wrap to remove it from the mold.  Peel off the Syran wrap, the Positive image will have lots of veining in it.  Fill these with thin plaster, then smooth it as above.  I now have a bust of my bust. :D  It takes 4 pounds of plater of Paris. I'm going to try different things.  Maybe I will heat the Breast cup with a heat gun to reshape the cup.  Maybe I will build an epoxy flange to fit it better.  In the end I will glue the foam to the resulting cup.  My breast hieght is constantly 25% higher after three nights.  During the treatment it now extends about 20% further than when I started.
