I was thinking what if the economy fell or something like that such that one couldn't get there Hormones.
What would happen if a post-op stopped taking estrogen?

No way, nuh-uh never going to happen. Over the last year I've built up a nice little hormone stash lol.

I've watched my pharmacist fill my scripts, I know what their bulk estradiol and spiro bottles look like and where they keep them. The bottles are huge, they prolly have enough for one person to last like 5 years. That's not to even mention the blister packs with smaller spiro pills in them and of course the avodart.  When the bombs come (and we all know they will) I'll be down there looting them before the dust even settles.

If you don't have tests it will just put you in menopause.

I doubt that you won't be getting estrogen if economy collapses though.. it's so cheap anyways.

Most of the girls here are from the United States, where its only illegal when, and if, you get caught.

We were also discussing post-apocalyptic actions, not just an afternoon on the town.

If the law does not own the person, then it is she who descides what laws to be ruled by, thus illegality is a matter of opinion and choice.
.... ;D Just arguing for the sake of it...don't know that I believe that but it sounds nice

Well, I'm NOT "post-op" but ya know what? For a variety of reason's that I won't go into right here I have after three years stopped taking HRT completely for going on three weeks now and *surprise guess what* . . . with little or no ill effects being experienced at all! In the name of a "break", a simple interest in getting well overall I have indeed felt myself empowered & great in terms of my continued BATTLES with wife over kids like I have never felt before!

As my therapist (who has yet to CASH my checks ??? ) has continually suggested/reasoned that in putting my children first over any selfishly contrived transition goals of my own perhaps I am not really TS at all but am rather, and quite to the contrary, merely a "TransGendered individual" and thats it with nothing more implied? While I never really thought of such distictions as actually existing before now I've since come to the realization that no matter what I decide or choose to do in terms of "therapy" I will probably just continue to "be myself" no matter what happens in the future . . .

As certain bridges are crossed the possibility of going back to "the old ways" of looking at & doing things has never really existed for me all along and probably never will with A "Classic", Whole Full Circle Transition implying an ablity to always pick up exactly where one originally thought they left off!
"But it's no use now," thought poor Alice, "to pretend be two people!
"Why, there's hardly enough of me left to make one respectable person!"

Herbals.  Grow your own.  But try to find Black Cohosh on-line to grow.  I tried that years ago.
