I'm Tiffany and have just recently been learning about being transgender after a confusing life of not knowing who or what I am and being condemned by many.
I have found it to be a great blessing in disguise. The more I learn about being transgender the greater my freedom from self-condemnation and that of others.
I enjoy the word of God which makes an outcast in many areas. In straight churches as well as on secular websites. I do enjoy using the word of God to give hope to those who are transgender and feeling condemned but don't wish to make a nuisance of myself. Too many use the word of God to condemn rather than seek the glory of our precious Lord Jesus. That's a shame.
If I offend anyone please feel free to tell me so I can apologize. That is the last thing I would ever wish to do.
I look forward to learning from so many of you that have more knowledge in transgender related topics.
  May God bless you.

Hi Tiffany,

I am sure you fit in. There are many of us who have been confused by our genders including myself. Lide is a journey and it sounds like you are starting on your transgender Journey. It will a long and very interesting.

Hi Tiffany, and welcome to Susan's.

I know what you're saying about a confusing life.  Susan's is the best place I've found for real information and good discussion about all aspects of this confusion.

As for offending anyone, about your religious or any other beliefs, please don't apologize.  While I may not share them, no one has any right to be offended by your beliefs.  As far as I'm concerned the only offence here is an attitude of "that's they way it is, so shut up and just listen!"  And truthfully you will rarely get that here, and if you do get it, feel free to get offended yourself.  You will not be alone.  Again, welcome.

Thank you all so much for your kind words and acceptance. It means more to me than you know.

I did just want to update my intro with some facts that I was too shy to post earlier. I guess I am also just wondering if there are any out there like me in certain areas.

I just found out this year what I am and don't have money for a gender therapist. I do most of my study on-line.

Since I am plagued by medical problems I don't forsee transitioning. I have other reasons as well but those are between God and I and in areas that may not apply to many.

I don't know if I am different but I am not attracted to either male nor female. I could live single all my life and it wouldn't bother me. I am married though and do love my wife.

Many years ago I was married to a loving wife that has remained with me. I guess I am blessed because she understands and if I ever would transition she would be willing to give up her straight lifestyle to stay with me. She feels she is in love with "me" and not what is between my legs. ( I hope that's not too dirty)

From what I read there are a wide variety of individuals here. I was just wondering if I am alone in this area.

As I get time I plan to read way more of the posts here. I look forward to learning from those of you that are far more enlightened than I.

Thank you all for being so accepting and may God bless you.

Hey, great to meet you, and it's wonderful to see another person who's made an important discovery about herself. Being a transgender isn't a light thing to awaken to.

About the word of God thing, that is wonderful and I'm glad it works for you. I'm sure nobody will have a problem with it so long as you don't shove it down peoples' throats. I for one, respect Christianity greatly and there are some good and thought-provoking things written in the Old Testament, but I'll never be a Christian. Quotes from the Bible are nice, though, and oft strangely accurate to situations at hand.

Pleasure to meet you, miss.
