Which one?  US is 1K miles x 3K miles and has several very distinctive regional accents.

Well, Jay said he loves "yankee speak," so I'm guessing northern accents?  But, in general, I've never heard anyone say that any American accent is cool.

And a lot of the time, I hear people say that the southern accent here in the U.S. is one of the least intelligent-sounding accents ever.

None of which are cool. Well, maybe one or two of the northeastern dialects but in my humble  the south is just meh. We all love the Kennedy's but every time I hear that accent I'm just like...I'll just order the transcript. Then there's the south and it's intelligence robbing accents. I resent that.

I've lived in Texas all my life and the majority of "Texans" (or whatever you want to call these folks) not only speak without that ridiculous accent, but are far from "stupid."

It's completely illogical I know but that accent is like nails on a chalkboard for me. Most of the people I've met with southern accents thought I was a
snob and I thought they were stupid, until we got to know one another and then I wouldn't hear it anymore.

The "rolling" southern accent makes me giggle for some reason.

Ok... So southern accents are interesting with their "y'all" and "howdy" etc lol! Like in - I dunno Sweet Home Alabama I spose. Typical American accents like in movies etc are cool. But my favorite would have to be like people from Boston and that area (I think thats where). Its almost a cross between Aussie and American I reckon. Its so hard to describe your accents hey!! I hope I havn't offended anyone?!
I love it to when I hear Aussie accents on the Simpsons etc... They're so bad its funny!! lol XD I would love to be the guy employed to do Aussie accents for all cartoons!!
I remember being in Honolulu and someone asked me where I was from and I said 'Ostraylya' (phonetically - the way we say it) and she said it in her American accent very 'Oh, Australia' and I remember saying 'No no no, Ost-rayl-ya!!' such a funny situation trying to help you guys speak our slang  lol Highly entertaining!!
Fair dinkum is awesome!! Flamin' gallah is another one!! even we find 'em funny lol!! Stone the flamin' crows... I could go on... And on!!
I think I might do a video on this hey!! Like I said I sincerely hope I havn't offended anyone? It's not my intention.

Hahaha... Yeah the slang and the quality programming!!! XD Our shows are so B grade compared to US shows... Apart from a select few of course. But they are few and far between!!

Wow OK - I guess we always figure the shows here are ones that have been adopted from the US anyways and are like our version of US shows 
GNW is a great show as is S&S... And Your Gen is pretty good too!! Glad you like em - least we're doing something right!!!
