ha, how did it translate the parenthasies, or did you just ditch those?

fluent in american English, and I can understand basic communication in spanish, italian, and french. I can't 'speak' any of the three though, unless stringing together nouns and verbs qualifies. 

I can get through most latin texts with a dictionary; my grammar is excellent, but my vocab is pretty poor. Took it for a few years in highschool.

and even though it's not spoken I'll also mention american sign language. Much better at understanding than communicating though.

English, little bit of Spanish, I can read some french (took it in high school but forgot most of it).  I know lots of bits and pieces of other languages from poking my nose around in various places .

English of course since I'm writing in it. And an o.k. knowledge of Tibetan, Sanskrit, Hindi, Japanese and Spanish.

The gender of the noun French is masculine, and the gender of grammaire (grammar) is feminine.  Therefore, the possessive adjective "mon" (masculine) has to be in the feminine form "ma" as well.

My family & I came to France from Uruguay when I was little.  French is my native language.  I also speak English, Spanish, German & have got some knowledge of Swedish & Turkish. 

insanitylives: Every noun in French has a gender & every adjective & pronoun has to match the gender & number of the noun they modify.  Same with Spanish.

I.. knew that... I just forget once in awhile, and ususally just pick masculine, since most nouns/adjectives are (yeah yeah i know it's sexist)

IBeing a native Danish gal, I'm fluent in my own language.  English, German & some Spanish are my back up!

German, French, Italian, English & Romansh.  Yes you got it, I'm Swiss!  I hope that isn't a problem! 

Fluently: English, Spanish, Arabic, Pashto.

Not so fluently: Portuguese.
