Hey all,
just a quick qstn for those of you guys on T:  Did you experience any bulking or becomign more broader in the shoulders after starting T even without working out?
I've been on T for around 9months now and i havnt experienced any general increase in size (not even just a little bit...)

Cheers,
Joshua

I bulked up broadened naturally. It does help working out but that always requires effort ;)

I can't tell you when it happened.. I just know that it did!

I'm experiencing a bit, and am 4 months on T.
I don't "work out" but I will lift some hand weights for about 10 minutes at the end of the day/ I do yoga [which suprisingly does help strength a good bit]

Nothing extreme though...
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

Yes.  A number of my shirts are much tighter.  I can still wear some of them (T-shirts stretch) but... they're much tighter.  The non-stretchy button ups are tight enough to be unwearable.

It happened fairly rapidly--within the first few months.  I was working out then.  I stopped at about 4 months, due to general busy-ness and the fact that my shoulders felt very strained despite proper stretching.  Shoulder growth continued to happen--albeit at a much slower rate--since then.  I think it's stopped now.  Might give the weights another go until top surgery, just to see what happens.

I'm by no means big, I'm only talking about a 3-inch or so increase in shoulder circumference.  Probably only enough for me to notice, and that's mostly because of the outgrown shirts.

Yes. I already had broad shoulders but now they're broader and bulkier.

My shoulders actually naturally got broader after I turned 18 but I just started T today and am going to start working out tomorrow.

I bulked up and broadened a lot when I began T, but I was working out a lot then too. After the first half a year I fell into a depression and stopped eating as well and stopped exercising like I had been, now I'm back where I started before T. I went from 125lbs to 160lbs in about 4 or 5 months, in the course of one summer I went back down to 125 and have stayed there for about a year now.

I finally got my weights moved in and set up though, plus we got a place with an actual kitchen so I can start cooking meals on a daily basis again instead of eating out or eating barely anything, so hopefully I will see that change again. If I do have any dramatic change again from these things I will update you guys. Maybe I'll even share some of my eating habits that tend to help with weight gain and muscle mass increase ;)

Yeah definitely.  My shoulders are much broader than they used to be.  All of my shirts are tighter, some to the point where they barely fit.  I was working out a bit, but I think the T was the main reason why I got bigger

now I won't be working out for a few months (just had top surgery monday), so I'll see if I stay the same size

My shoulders are broader and shirts tighter. I have not been working out much but work in a warehouse part time where I lift stuff up to 90+ pounds.

I had to get rid of a lot of clothes, my shirts got too small due to my shoulders filling them up and  I had to go to a larger waist size and men's cut of pants, since my waist actually got bigger although my hips lots  a lot of fat. I've not been working out for months, but my strength and stamina are great.

Hmmm, is interesting how it happens to some.  I've always known T to promote growth and help bulk fast...still has me puzzled ???

*shrug* take a look at some cis-guys.  Not all of them have a lot of meat on their shoulders.  It's probably genetic.  How are the shoulders of the guys in your family?

I haven't worked out since February (sad!), which was before I got back on T. Once on T, I noticed within the first month that my arms were bulking up. Every activity I do seems to pack on more muscle; I rode my bike to and from school this semester until it got cold, and now my quads are massive. I think I have a propensity for building muscle quickly, though.

My shoulders have definitely gotten a bit broader.  I don't work out, but I do have a job that involves lifting things over my head repeatedly for hours at a time, so I suspect the effect is similar to working out with low weight/high reps.
