- having just found Susan's last night I have been chatting and having fun like a new school girl practically all day today!!! It is refreshing to find a forum where just about every thread is a pleasure to read and can elicit something to say, even if in my case it is just idle girl talk.
Welcome Kiera, and yes, I feel that way about this place too. I have more fun here, whether discussing weighty topics (several of which I have no clue what I am talking about, but have fun adding my opinions), or just hanging out with the girls. It allows me to explore both my male and female qualities and play with gender roles and identities. It is, without a doubt, my favorite place to hang out online.
I agree with Helen about posting an Introduction. It really is the best place to announce yourself to the community. It can be kinda scary, telling about yourself and your journey, but I found that when I actually made myself write down all those thoughts, it helped solidify my understanding of myself and enabled me to better explain who I am to others.

Question: the 'lil gender button, is that supposed to be figurative symbol of the way I feel or a literal indicator based on actual clay??? This girl's a tad confused . . .
Most of the folks here use the gender button to identify our true nature. If you feel you are a woman (regardless of what body you were born in) choose female. Same applies to male. For some of us, neither role reflects the true nature of ourselves. Most of us who identify as Androgyne have chosen not to use the gender button because either choice is incorrect.
Hope that helps clear up your question...if you have more, just ask. Nobody here bites, although a good nibble at the right time can be fun.

Lolli...sorry about the thread drift...yes, facial hair is a problem for most of us...why can't our beards recede like the rest of our hairline?? For me, the worst place is my upper lip, and I have heard that from others too. If I decide to begin permanent hair removal, I believe I will start there.
