I'm going in for a physical on Tuesday and then I will start therapy. How much does it usually cost for testosterone treatment?

Depends~. Mine's 40$ with insurance.

I pay $125 for a 5 month supply, my insurance doesn't cover it and I do IM injections.

I pay $56USD for my shots, needles included.  That lasts me about 5 months.  I still haven't gotten the bill for the appointment and the blood work that was done though, but the first appointment was covered by my insurance (or so I was told).

I right now pay $90 for five months from Kmart. People I tell about this think I am paying too much. If you purchase T can you include price and where you get.

walgreens, $30, 5 month supply

that is my copayment with insurance

Mine is from Strohecker's Pharmacy (see post below).  I agree that $90 is a little high for a five month supply of T.  Either go with Strohecker's (a lot of guys use it) or check around at another local pharmacy.  You can just call and ask for a price.  If you have insurance, be sure to ask if they'll take that as well.

I called every local pharmacy and that was the cheapestprice. I called stroheckers a few times and never got an answer.

That's odd.  Every time I've called, they've answered and gotten back to me very promptly.  There was a slight mix-up about payment, but they sent my T express (for no extra charge) so I have no complaints.  In case you (or anyone else) want to try calling them again, here's their number and times:

Saturday 9:00 - 3:00

Well I will give them a call when i need a refill.

I would like to see some sans-insurance data. I've got no job at the moment and might start T very soon.. Data would help me in this.

Be mindful that Strohecker's can't ship to all U.S. states. I know they can't ship to North Carolina.

Edit:
Strohecker's can't ship to Arizona, Tennessee, Virginia or North Carolina. Here's why...

"In order to ship medications out-of-state, most state boards of pharmacy require the pharmacy to be licensed in the states they ship to. Strohecker's is licensed, or is in the process of getting a license, in all the states we ship to.

However, the licensing requirements for out-of-state pharmacies vary from state to state, and can change every year. Some states require certain types of documentation, and the cost of providing that documentation outweighs the number of prescriptions that we mail to patients in those states. So, we have decided to cease shipping to patients in certain states, rather than getting licensed."

Alright well I live in Ohio so I guess I am good.

No insurance here, and my prescription discount card, while good for everything else, doesn't cover testosterone. That said, mine is $60 for a 10 ml vial, which lasts me roughly four months. That's at Costco... I'm not a member, either. Any Costco with a pharmacy will allow you to use their pharmacy regardless of whether or not you're a member. It's the best price I've found anywhere.

i live in ohio (northeast ohio) and use the apothecary shop to get my rx. the pharmacist is great and the price is $40 or $50, i think they charge less for shipping in ohio as opposed to out of state. this used to last 4 months or so when i was on a full dose but i cut it down to half of what i used to be taking so i assume it'll be an 8 month supply now. i highly recommend the apothecary shop.

Thanks for that.  I've thought about moving to NC in the future, and if that stays the same, it's something to think about.  Not that my decision would be solely based on a pharmacy.   :P

That said I have no problems getting my T from Wal-Mart (insurance covers it). I know Costco carries it too. Forget the Rite Aids- they won't fill it or order it around here. They suck. >:( Any idea where in NC you're looking at?

Asheville or somewhere close to there.  The only way I'd move there though would be if my current partner and I got engaged or married (or whatever we decided to call it, legal or not).  She works at NOC during the summer and plans to move up there after she graduates.  Do you live in NC?

I also get mine through Stoheckers, none is covered by insurance, and I pay $56 for everythign 4 months supply.
