@ Aussie Jay:
Nope, we don't have the slow-release stuff in the States. Last I heard, the FDA was in the process of evaluating Nebido (is that what you're on?) for release in the U.S. For right now, we're stuck with the old-school weekly/bi-weekly injections of T ethanate or cypionate. I was just curious how the slow-release stuff worked with regards to hormone fluctuations.
I was hoping to go on T pellets eventually, since they require replacement only 4 times a year, compared to weekly injections. However, putting the pellets in pretty much requires a minor surgery under local anesthetic; a 4x/year injection would be a lot simpler. Hopefully the U.S. will approve Nebido; in the meantime, I'm just wondering how stable hormone levels are with slow-acting T. If you can shoot me a PM or just reply to this topic when you're at the end of this shot cycle and let me know how you're feeling, that would be good. That sucks that the red death came back & you got irritable again; that's mainly what I worry about. I hate fluctuating hormone levels (currently on a reduced T dosage due to some problems) and it's kinda driving me nuts. Hot flashes and I'm irritable like I used to be before starting T. Kinda just waiting for the red death to start up again *grumblegrumblehystosoon?*
One more thing: how long does it take for the soreness to subside from the larger injection? The soreness from my smaller weekly shot typically lasts 1-3 days. Thanks for the info.
