What can I get away with?

Today I'm wearing foundation and clear lip gloss to work.  Anything else that I could get away with without outing myself?

I occasionally wear clear mascara to work.

Outside of work, I usually wear black mascara. :icon_chick:

Clear mascara eh?  I'll have to look into this.

Maybe it's Maybelline! :P

Honestly, I think it's just a watered down hair gel that you apply with a mascara brush. But, it does wonders for your eye lashes. It lifts and separates them, but without any color added.

Oh!  My ex used that stuff!  I see it all the time at the drugstores.

I am not trying to put you off. But be careful as people will notice both of those. Women especially.

I notice when I see men wearing foundation and also lip gloss usually when I am out clubbing.

If you have been doing this for a while then you will probably find you are already out in a way. IF you have a real good friend you might try asking them.

Matte clear nail polish.  Not the shiny stuff.

Today was the first time.  I dunno.  I don't think that I care anymore if people find out.  Except my family.... and they'll come last anyways.

Hi Jester
People especially women, will notice very quickly. If you don't have a problem with that, well it is a great way to move forward.
Before I came out I was asked why I had bits of paint left on my finger nails. Damn I thought I had cleaned and scrubbed them. No guy asked, only girls.

My lies were lame to say the least in retrospect.

I was asked once by my secretary if I was tired because I had black lines under my eyes. Whoops, badly cleaned off mascara.
It may be the subconscious wanting to mave forward.
Good luck anyway.
Wish I'd come out years before. No one actually had a problem.

Foundation is very obvious. Especially if you are not talented in applying it. Shiny lips will be obvious to some people too.

If you look all unsure of yourself and scared, people will pay closer attention, too. That's why the most important thing when you start going out is to be confident and own your space.

I was definitely confident, and even I could barely tell I was wearing the foundation.  It's a powder, not a cream, which I think helped.  But then again, for the first time yesterday, I could tell exactly which girls in my department (Only "male" in the deli!) were wearing what kinds of make-up.  I think at least one was wearing the same shade and brand that I was.

I'm glad I posted this here though, because my mom and grandmother are coming up today and I was gonna wear some make-up.  Now I am not.

Yeah i got busted wearing the shiny stuff by my daughter at dinner. I played it off and spent the rest of dinner chipping off polish under the table  :D
