Bellringer did my long awaited second stage as a private patient at Charing cross... My first was done by a surgeon who is now long gone. (I waited 26 years from my original SRS) The results were awesome, and Mr Bellringer is a very nice man whom I personally would indeed reccomend. His technique was fine for me.
As with ANY surgeon you will find that opinions will differ on him. There are a few who will tell you that he has had operations in the early days that didn't go so well... but remember he has also had many others like my revision that went extremely well indeed! So don't get too hung up on anyone else's opinion and hearsay, even mine!
Judge for yourself. He is the appointed surgeon at an acknowledged major UK centre of excellence after all. Bear in mind we are all different, medicine is not car parts... a technique which worked brilliantly for me may not work so well for you. Sadly the only ultimate guide to you... is you yourself. Even the great Dr suporn, who everyone seems to think is the best of the current breed, has some which turn out better than others. So I'm afraid choosing a surgeon is one of those things which you just have to do lots of research, look at any pics you can find, maybe email the surgeons with any questions and then trust your instinct.
I chose Bellringer.
What I can tell you is the the surgical team at CXH is very attentive, the nursing care is second to none, the food is good - the anaesthetic was amongst the most gentle that I have ever had... I dreamed whilst I was under! That never happens normally. Mr Bellringer himself is very friendly and helpful and if anything is not to your satisfaction he will do his utmost to help.
I chose Him partly because he was convenient and reasonably priced, and partly because when I emailed him with my questions I got a personal reply within 24 hours which showed me that he had understood EXACTLY what I wanted. I now have a clitoral hood, my urethra is, at last in the anatomically normal place, I now have small labia minora and a clitoris which is of normal size and sensate... all of which is a vast improvement on the rather basic result that I had before.
So I for one, certainly would give him the thumbs up.
