So for a month and a half I've been on daily T gel. It stinks, it's sticky, it's making my chest break out (or that could just be...being on T!) and it cramps my morning routine.

We'd gone with that dosing method because my doctor and I both thought that would be "low dose" for me. Turns out..it's not! lol. My body is using every little tiny bit of the T given so when I went into see my doctor today after talking a little...

I got my first two week shot!! I'm not sure if I'm suppose to mention how much he gave me or if that's not allowed, but let's just say he gave me more than I expected he would! They taught my wife how to give me injections and sent us home with needles, a script and a sharps container for disposal of needles.

I know it's kinda silly but I feel like...I'm "really" transitioning now! lol. If you've heard my voice recently...you'd know that I'm totally transitioning already but...just something about being on shots now makes me really happy. Yay! They gave me some instructions about how it'd be ok to move to weekly if I feel like I need to, or how to adjust the dose if I feel like I need more or less. I feel so much more in control now. With the gel it was either half the tube or a whole tube. There wasn't much more control than that, and I really had no idea how much "half a tube" ACTUALLY was.

Moving right along! My new avatar pic is from this morning as well. I'd just applied T to my chest and was waiting for it to dry and just felt like I should take a picture! lol. I think I look different though I can't put my finger on WHAT'S changed exactly.

No, posting dosages aren't allowed but congratulation or your first shot. I recommend you also learn to do the shot yourself in case of emergency. It's not that bad and it's important knowledge to know.

I myself probably wouldn't like using the gel. Applying it everyday sounds annoying, but many guys like that better than shots. It's all about your preferences.

It is what it is—and whatever.

I am very pleased Sevan is on the shots. Hir co-pay was 20$ on the testim gel and the shots are 4$ a month co-pay.
Besides the gel is soo sticky gross.
So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss.
If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.
