I had therapy today, and I got the form I need to change my gender marker on my license from F to M signed by my therapist today. Awesome! So hopefully in the next two weeks, my name will be legally changed and so will my license. I'm wicked exicited. My therapist is starting on my letter for hormones. Now I'm waiting for insurance to kick in so I can search for endos. I also need to call my Primary Care Physician to see if she has any experience with transgender patients. If not, I need to find one who's experienced or I need to see if it'll cause any problems. So I've got to plot out the next few weeks of my life. Work is awesome. Other than getting she'd on the phone, I'm Davis and that's that. I'm so pumped right now.

You're lucky you can change your gender marker on your DL liscense just from a letter from your therapist. In my state you have to be seeing/have seen a therapist, be on T and had top surgery. Yeah, it's a bitch. I think I might have found a loophole though.

Yeah my therapist sounded really nice over the phone.
She knew what she was talking about.
She works at a place called Los Angeles Gender Center.

The whole building basically specializes in G.I.D.;
which is really really awesome.

It's like a grippe of six or seven therapists all specializing in transitioning,
and gender issues.
