I saw this Margaret Cho thing where she said if guys got periods, bachelor apartments would look like a murder scene.  That's how I relate to it! I am gross.

Can't stand the period thing.  I'll be sooo glad to get on T.

That's what I'm looking forward to the most.  I've done my time.

I think we have all done our time, some just more than others.

May I suggest black underwear to prevent (visible) staining.  That's always what I did.  In fact, it just occurred to me the other day that I no longer need to collect black underwear like it's going out of style.  Yay!  :eusa_dance:  Back when I was still wearing women's panties, I used to really, really hate it when I would buy a pack of underwear, only to discover that some idiot had decided it would be a good idea to line all the black underwear with white fabric.  :icon_burn:

But back to the original topic ...

For the first time in my life I've become something of a clothes horse.  :D  I've become totally addicted to clearance racks.  In fact, I just picked up a couple dress shirts ($4.50 each!) and long-sleeved T-shirts ($2 each) at Kohls yesterday.   ;D

5 or 6 pairs of jeans (I go through these quickly, so I loose track.  My job is pretty rough on clothes.)
2 pairs cargo pants (black and brown)
3 pairs of dress slacks (Brown, grey, black)
5 pairs of shorts
1 pair of swim trunks
4 pairs of fleece pajama bottoms (Even men's sleepwear has pockets!  :icon_blink: )
4 pairs of corduroy trousers (brown, black, tan, grey)
8 dress shirts with convertible cuffs (gold, grey, black, red, purple, blue, brown, burgundy)
2 dress shirts with French Cuffs
A dozen, or so regular-cuffed dress shirts
Half a dozen-ish silk shirts
3 flannel shirts
15 or so long-sleeved casual button-up shirts
15 or so short-sleeved button up shirts (although most of these are now too big for me, so I need to get some more.  ;) )
3 sport coats (black, grey, brown.  Still need a Navy one.)
3 light-weight leather jackets
4 hoodies (red, black, blue, orange)
Winter coat
Nice trench coat, with removable liner, for more formal occasions
Custom painted leather rocker jacket that I got in London on my 18th birthday.  ;D
40 or so ties
A couple dozen fashion T-shirts (with graphics)
A dozen or so long-sleeved T-shirts
A dozen or so solid-color T-shirts in various colors.
4 or 5 baseball caps
3 cadet caps
several newsboy caps
a black Homburg
a black Feodora
a brown corduroy Trilby
a pinstriped Trilby
a brown Safari hat (which I'm going to try to sell, as it's a bit big.)
a black Top Hat (which rarely gets worn)
5 pairs of cuff links
3 tie clips
1 pair of sneakers
1 pair of black sandals (I'd like some brown ones as well.)
1 pair black oxfords
1 pair brown penny loafers (which I plan to replace with saddle oxfords when I get a chance)
2 pairs slip-on skater shoes (1 brown, 1 black pinstriped)
2 pairs steel-toed work boots
several pairs of shoes I rarely wear, except on costume occasion - motorcycle boots, moccasin boots, silver loafers, etc.)
genuine fleece-line slippers (a necessity here in the frigid north)
lots and lots of boxer-briefs, 3 pairs of trunks (which I'll be getting more of) and 1 pair of boxers.

Ummm... That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

If that is your wardrobe, where do you live?

Jamie: That's a lot of clothes. :o

Wolf Man

I dress like a teenager, worn mens specific clothing since middle school, and the only transitioning is to a more age appropriate attire.

Old:
Like 10 T-shirts with funny sayings on them, video games, or brand names.
4 pairs of jeans - two light, two dark
3 pairs of shoes - dress, everyday, and a pair that are too loose.
1 belt (broken now) - use my dad's belts since I need one.
3 dress shirts - blue, black, red
1 pair dress pants.
6 pairs boxer briefs.
3 pairs boxers.
1 binder.
Tons of socks - white/grey, white, and black

New:
3 casual button-ups (1 too tight, don't wear)

So, yeah. That's about it. I don't have any accessories, just necessities: leather wallet, keys, pen(s), phone, stp. And those all hide away in my pockets.
I'll be there someday, I can go the distance
I will find my way, If I can be strong
I know every mile, Will be worth my while

When I go the distance, I'll be right where I belong

Oh, I just sleep on the laundry pile.  ;)

I just added five nice lightweight short sleeve button-down shirts for this summer. They won't fit correctly until after top surgery, so they're hanging in my closet until then. I know it's early but I couldn't resist; and I'll need them immediately post-surgery because I understand that pulling on a t-shirt is not recommended.

I really could not stand clothes shopping, before. Now I'm so eager to do it.

I don't own a wardrobe, dresser, drawers, etc. sooo nothing!
All my clothes are on the floor! >.<
I've got a bunch of jeans of various shades, t-shirts, button downs, black slacks, kahkis...uhhh nice shoes, sandals, sneakers...I got a lot of clothes.

Chamillion

This is (most of) my closet:

I have exactly 100 shirts hanging up haha, that includes t shirts, button ups, polos, long sleeves, etc.  Then I have 15 hoodies, 2 winter jackets, about 6 pairs of jeans, 2 khakis, 3 pairs of shorts, a few belts, flip flops, shoes, and about 20 pairs of boxers.  My closet is always organized like that too, I'm a bit OCD about it..
;D

LOL! You have a whole rainbow in your closet.

  •

Roro

Woah as cool as that looks to have your closet arranged by color, the bit of ocd in me would completely flip out at long sleeves being mixed with short sleeves being mixed with polos. OH THE CHAOS! T-shirts and button downs touching! *runs for the hills* And yet everything is fine when it's on the floor in a pile. Shut up, I'm not nuts. lol Not even gonna start on the hangers. I eventually had to switch to all black... but now some are different from the others, so I try to give the thicker ones to my husband so I don't have to deal with hanger patterns in my side. Again. I'm not nuts. ::)

I added a pair of men's sports sandals and a muscle tee.  I think for swimming, I'm going to wear a pair of shorts (I'll wait till clearance time to buy swim trunks) and a muscle tee over a sports bra for the top.

Parker Lane

Oh Lordy Lordy.
I have lots of clothes, but I need more..
:p.

4 pairs of mens jeans (some from pacsun, some are levis, etc.)
I need better jeans though that are wider at the waist so they don't define my "babY makin hips"

An endless amount of t-shirts of various brands.

3 polos (2 am. Eagle 1 volcom)

About 5 pairs of shorts, dickies and plaid.

White t-shirts and wife beaters for various layering with my binder.

Boxers and boxer briefs. About 20 pairs. I haven't worn womens underwear since I was probably around 13.

Lots and lots of black socks. I HATE white socks. They leave lint on everything.

About 4 pairs of gym shorts and a pair of flannel pj pants for lounging on my days off.

That's about all I can think of as of now...

Oh! And a bunch of long sleeved flannel shirts and hoodies. :]

LordKAT

White socks are for healthier and less odorous feet. Which I prefer and have never had a lint problem with.

I've never even given any consideration to swimwear. I haven't worn a swimsuit in over 15 years because I couldn't stand the idea of anyone seeing my stupid body. Maybe next year I'll be feeling good enough to think about that.

This weekend my wardrobe will be cut almost in half as I am going to go through and donate all the wearable women's clothing I still have. I now have enough unisex/male clothing to dress comfortably for about two weeks before I'd need to do laundry.

Ooh, I got a big box from American Apparel in the mail yesterday, so I can add to my list a navy blue cardigan, two t-shirts with pockets, one pair of mustard coloured y-fronts and a pair of gold socks with white stripes.  I think I am starting to look pretty sharp, awesome.
