High heels for men go beyond drag shows and hit the street

The perennial fashion question - Should I wear heels or flats with these pants? – isn't just for women anymore.

Men are the subjects of a new couture craze that hasn't yet trickled down to the average guy (if it ever will): high heels for males.

And we're not talking Dustin Hoffman squeezing into a pair of women's stilettos "Tootsie"-style for a one-off drag gag. These are heeled or platform shoes - sometimes up to 4 inches tall - designed specifically for the male foot.
