Got my letter from the doctor yesterday confirming that the PCT will fund the next step of assessment. Phoned the GIC just to let them know my holiday dates and in case the letter hadnt got to them yet and they say i should hear in mid august from them> YES!!!!!!

Yeah i've really got my fingers crossed cos if they take into account the three sessions i ve already had with a gender specialist which is basically the same as the first three sessions you have at the gender clinic; and they ought to cos it was with the psychiatrist who set up nottingham gender clinic then it may not be too long before i actually start getting somewhere.

I'll try not too. But i'm going on holiday on friday so i know i'm gonna be spending the two weeks wondering if a letter has come for me
