So I gave blood today. No big deal, I like to donate blood. But today my spirits were lifted when I came home with a message on my answering machine.
"Hi, This is *insert name here* from the Red Cross, I'm calling because we a have a question *insert thick German accent here* gender *more thick accent*. Please call us back when you get the chance."
So I couldn't understand the accent very well, but I could've swore I heard "gender" in there. So I call back.
"So, it's seems that your nurse has made a mistake about your gender when filling things out...You're a man, yes?"
My jaw just dropped. I dunno how I managed with my very obvious female name, high-pitched voice, and no binding with a 40D chest (I usually do but I didn't want to mess with circulation or respiration), but I passed to someone. That makes it twice this week, which is a high score.
Does anyone have any idea how this could've happened, especially since I've given blood before? XD
I guess it was just a stupid story, but I had to share my utter joy somehow.
