The trans community online is not very big.  In social networking, the degrees of separation between one trans person and another trans person are usually going to be less than four.  Meaning that a particular trans person is going to be able to be reached by another trans person by going through four people.

Trans forums are also fairly few.  There are several that are out there, of course, but most of them are fairly well known, and the size of some is such that there's usually a connection between the boards in the form of one member or another.

My own observation here is that Estrogen does not always thicken a transgirl's skin where it is needed most.  We are indeed a small world, and one of the things we need is to carefully listen to each other IN TOTAL before shooting our keyboards off.  It can be hard to follow too many details, and lets face it not all of us are good at digesting long Socratic dialogues. (Not even the old Greeks could do that, as we learn from ol' Soc's final drinking binge from our days back in high school.)  There are dangers too though in not being specific enough or open enough since people do catch "buzz words" and its detonation time.  We do have some folks that come into our world that want to create tension.  We are no different from the rest of the internet on that issue though, and the litmus test of the poster should be to tell them to "jack off' and if it brings offense instead of laughter then they don't really belong here.  (Carefully think about that for a minute or two before you go after me.  My humor is can be pretty subtle when its thrown out of the penthouse, but when it hits the ground...............!)  If we didn't like you, we wouldn't say anything AT ALL about you!

You do realize exactly how offensive that comment can be when directed at a post corrected woman?....when the basic issue most post corrected women have with TGs is the lack of respect of womanhood?

You did not spend the time carefully thinking about my comment before you shot your keyboard off, as I warned you to do!!

The term "post corrected" would be as offensive and stuffy to me as anything I MEAN to say, and in fact gives me an image that fits with a "correction" type long outlawed in the US but would be preferred by some of the more rightwing bigots as a way of "correcting" deviant behavior such as your apparent meaning of "post correction" before it happens. You are familiar with a case of murder of a gay person a few years ago?

Now were YOU offended, or are you taking offense for someone whom you believe should be or even has a slight chance of it?? 

This time next year when I am post-op, I'll re-read this and see if I am offended though.  SNIFF SNIFF Huff!!! Pout!! SNIFF!

If you can point out any conceivable theory under which I violated the TOS before or after edit......do it.  But I do expect you explain that theory, here, in public view.  I did not violate the TOS simply by objecting to an insult directed at an entire trans group, those women who's bodies have been corrected to reflect their neurology.  I did "get" the "joke" which failed on multiple levels.  "Jack off" specifically refers to male masturbation, the similarity to moving a jack handle up and down.  In all my long years of being exposed to sexist remarks I never ran across "jack" used to refer to a penis....so the "joke" is an epic fail that the poster realized was an insult via the "explanation" included with it.  It not only was not funny, it was insulting.  I kept my comment to that only adding that I doubted the jokester would understand why it was offensive.  If this violated the TOS I demand that 3/4 of the posting on this entire board be removed on the same basis as I have suffered far far worse here multiple times without response from the board censors.

I will not apologize for having been insulted personally when I had not done so myself, did not respond to the attack and followed the exact procedure I had been told many times in the past to take.  To wit: don't respond, report.

Your neo-gynophobic double standard is showing big time.  As a child I learned that standing up to abuse or bullying meant I would be punished for doing so.  This is exactly why I am a major supporter of anti-bullying laws for schools.  This is no different.  I did not address any of the myriad issues I have with this board's editorial policies, I simply indicated this was an insult to an entire group this board insists is part of the "trans communities" and therefore is an actual and real violation of the TOS which is self evident if one isn't blinded by bigotry towards women of history.

Given past experience here I know this will be removed and I most likely will be banned.  You will simply prove my point in doing so.
