I got some pics shot from a TV show from Germany about Kim and her transsition. Can I post them here, and how must I do it to bring them from my pc to our web page?
BTW , after you finished your transsition, you're not trans anymore in a judical way and also in a physical way. Remeber, Biology is NOT destiny!
True - but it is kind of an individual decision how anyone chooses to identify.

By the way back on topic I LOVE Kim's music ever since I found her on itunes. I have her as my ringtone and I have all her tracks.

The determining is as I define myself, then as that of the legislators or the state acts, and at the end then, like churches, family, friends, etc. define ts. If a legal-directed fart of the American tea  party movement (e.g., Glenn Beck) would define me wrong, it would, as we say in Germany,  pass to my ass". Hey, we also have rights as tax-paying citizens, and if such an a***hole wants to denied our rights, there are still the laws which can hinder him in it.

Yeah - but I'm in the UK and not America - and here in the UK we now have civilised laws so I am unambiguously female.

Although sadly I've been postop for the best part of 30 years and the law was only changed here about five years ago. But hey we got there in the end. :)

My point was that law is one thing. How WE define ourselves is the really important thing.

UK? Harry Potter Country? Great!
It becomes a time that there is an equal right for transsexual people in Europe. My birth certificate was altered in female. I may marry a man, may go on the ladies' room. I also have the same rights and duties, how any other woman. I know that is not in Europe everywhere so. This is why there should be for us also a uniform administration of justice.

Europe isn't a country in the way America is and I doubt it ever will be.

Hopefully the USA change their mind, but, if I see the "Tea party Movement", I doubt.

The principal difference here is that, while in the US, the central government weilds a lot of power and influence, the central government in Europe has comparitively little.

The problem in the US is that one of the principal tools used by the central government there has been to generate and play upon the insecurity Americans are taught, almost from birth.

America is not under any threat. It is un-invadable, even without its military machine.

The tea party is clearly an attempt to revive the supposed patriotism of the time of the declaration of independance. This is a direct reference to the generated fears that America is being taken over from within. The over-reaction to the claims of building a mosque on ground zero are a case in point. The mosque is already there, it's just a rebuild. The site is some distance from ground zero. But the claim of a mosque being build over the dead bodies of 9/11 is enough to cause fear. Obama had little choice but to defend freedom of worship since he swore to do just that.

At a recent Washington rally by the tea party Glenn Black talks about winning America back for god. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-11114172

This has echos of the early 50s when the spector of communism was generated to the extent that an extra line, referencing God was put into the oath of allegence.

It's all quite astonishing to the outside observer.

Quite astonishing looking at it from inside the US too!  ::) ::) ::)
