I would like to know what everybodies measurements were before, and after starting. Sort of a guage of sorts for others coming to look forward to (myself included). Don't bother posting cup size if you don't want to, purely inches will suffice! FTMs feel free to post, too!!

I am pre HRT and am currently 5'6", 138 lbs. I have a 36 chest, 31 waist, 35 hips, with a 16.5" shoulder width. I'm kinda hoping to gain at least 3 inches in the hips, lose 2 or 3 in the waist, and loose 2 or 3 in the chest.. coming out to 34/28/38 (I guess if I'm 33 - 34 chest, I should look at getting a 36" bra, so 36/28/38). Think that's reasonable? Please share your results :)

This is one thing I did not get on myself prior sadly. I still haven't gotten my measurements and really wish I had.

I did weigh 150 at the start and am now at 144. I have gained in size but loss muscle mass. Oh and I'm 6ft exact so I'm really skinny.

Janet_Girl

I did initially, but I got frustrated when I did not see any progress.  Now I go by how clothes look and feel.

Well don't feel bad hon, many girls have narrow hips. Not just MTFs but natal girls.

(i keep good records :)
I am 49 and started a full transition level testosterone blocker/estrogen regimen the beginning of the year. The waist measurements are tight/relaxed and the thigh is measured at the groin. I'm pretty much a classic ectomorph cube/banana with a 36A bust, so it's easy for me to pass as a guy or a girl. It's kind of interesting to see that clevage development hasn't  been all about the bust getting larger as much as chest/underbust getting smaller. Also that I've lost about an inch of height. And I don't show it on the chart, but I've also gone down about half a shoe size (11-10 1/2 pre HRT to 10-10 1/2 now). My neck has remained a constant 14" :

hey Virginia, what a nice little chart you have :) I don't have anything near like that; I just measure myself when I want to :)

I was 6ft/36-33-39 before started and pretty much stayed the same for 3 months. Then the E suddenly decided to kick my thyroid into overdrive mode and I lost an inch from all three measurements in a month because my metabolism rocketed sky high and I was refusing to eat more than I used to :) It's the best diet for muscle loss I've ever seen, you can be like a skeleton in just a few months (I've been there, not now, but earlier) - well, if you can get past the facts of not sleeping for days and having panic attacks during daytime :)

This is what I have:

3/1/2009 - 40-40-41 <-- Pre Gluten Free
11/1/2009 - 36-35-38 <-- Pre HRT
1/9/2010 - 35-34-37  <-- 1 month after HRT
3/14/2010 - 35-33-37
4/21/2010 - 35-32-37: overbust = 37
9/7/2010 - 36-33-38: overbust = 37

I've put on weight recently, as you can see my waist went up =(

Thank you, ggina! I'm an engineer and have kept ridiculously detailed documentation/pictures of the effects HRT has had on me.

Hey!  ;) Here are my measurements. I started AAs in April 2009, and low dose oral estrogen in May 2009,  stopped in June for one month for sperm storage, then started again in July and then progressed to injectables and then pellets about 8 months afterwards. My bust was bigger a few months ago, and when I started, but I am sure that's cos I lost a lot of muscle and fat around my back, which ultimately reduced the circumference. I was pretty obsessed about measurements for a long time, but have since stopped measuring myself, and feel a lot happier because of it. I was getting pretty dysmorphic about my body: it's a fine line between getting fit and taking it too far! I stopped exercising a couple of months ago, but have started again recently.

Height 5'8
Shoulder width 16.5"

Bicep is a good one I hadn't kept track of, andream, so I just checked and added it to my chart. Right (dominant arm) bicep is 12" preHRT baseline and 11" @ 8 mo HRT. My shoulder width is 15" now, unfortunately I didn't take a baseline. My neck has remained a constant 14".

I have pre-measurements but I haven't taken any recently, I should as I've just gone over the year mark! *adds to thinks to do list and will report back*.

Measured at 21 I was 5'6", 175 lbs and 38/28/36, seemed close to OP's numbers. At 41 I was5'5.5", 265 lbs, 38/44/38, a fatty basically. At 46 I was 5'5", 210 lbs 36/38/36, improvement. I know I am 206 in weight but haven't measured anything otherwise recently. Perhaps I will as I recorded another year older last Thursday.

Ahh that's my target - 11 inches flexed bicep, but the last bit of muscle is being stubborn. My arms are really still quite solid when I flex them, and if I flex my triceps there is still a horseshoe bulge lol. Well, at least that means there is still room for a reduction!

And I'm envious of your teenie waist, andream! I've always been a beanpole and was actually surprised there was anything to loose. But as a 5'10" bigender, I think I've gone about as far as I probably should to push my dimensions towards female with exercise or weight loss. I have worked hard "not to work hard" so I could atrophy those biceps. I never in my wildest dreams thought they would go down a full inch! I have focused on alot of simple of things; never open heavy store doors with one hand; use two hands to carry out the trash, make two trips with lighter loads instead of one, anything I can do to lower the load I work my muscles at. It slowly makes a difference.

I do not know my measurements from before or after. Only measurement I keep is my waist, when I started HRT 1yr4mnths ago I was wearing size 38 mans and curvature was only possible with corset and even then did not resemble that of a female( I thought so, but as I am looking back, oh boy, I didn't).  Now I am 32 and could probably get down to 30 with new waist cincher which I should get. I still like wearing corsets because it does extenuate the curves but now fits loosely over my body. I believe that strict low cal diet combined with HRT gave me this result so far. I am nowhere near where I like to be but difference is rather hopeful. I am enclosing before HRT and after shots for you to see for your selves. My waist has shrunk a million miles, my butt gained all that my waist lost, overall muscles have diminished especially legs, upper torso is the slowest but nevertheless slowly progressing, breast growth as well is very slow but progressing. I was a body builder until early 30s and muscle mass I have acquired is the slowest to come off, but looking at the present pick I my self can not believe that I ever lifted heavy weights.

PS Happy belated Birthday! lordKat
