It is a rather somber day of remembrance and reflection for me

I mostly try to keep myself busy but can't help breaking down into a good cry at various times of the day

Maybe someday I'll be able fill this empty void with a new special someone... Maybe not

A salute to those who fought for their lives and the lives of others and who sacrificed so much 9 years ago.

A salute to those who had to watch as they lost their loved ones.

A salute to everyone who has been affected in the 9 years since the attacks, soldiers, families, the Islamic people who now face discrimination and fear.

I want to thank our soilders, firemen, police officer and all those who gave their lives. Our country has lost a lot of brave men and women that day and the throughout this war. My heart goes out to all those whom has lost a loved one. Sept 11 will never be forgotten.

The thing is... Missing that wonderful person is a daily thing... The actual date it'self is a yearly reminder that that really screws with your emotions and psyche
