There's a very good and even humorous how-to video on YouTube...with a sexy nurse. At least, she's meant to be sexy; she didn't do anything for me, of course.

I searched and can't find it. Anyone know the video I mean? Gah. Mark, do you think you're talking about the same vid?
Anyway, Mcalistershaun, is there any possibility you can get your first couple of shots at the endo's or even at a clinic or something? Then they can show you how to do it.
Mine don't really hurt when I do the right buttock, or actually right above the buttock (I'm right-handed). I'm still getting the hang of injecting left-handed on the left side. Sometimes that's not so pleasant. But right-handed is a cinch. Sometimes I feel nothing, sometimes only a little twinge. I think it really hurt only once, and it wasn't PAIN. It was more like, "Oh, ouch. Darn." Then again, I might be remembering the left side.
Once you get a little instruction and get over your fear/apprehension, you should be fine. But the instruction really helps.
P.S. Congrats...do you have a date yet?
