What does a girl sleep in?

It depends. I usually sleep in just a nightgown or a full set of pajamas during the winter. During the summer it's usually just an overlarge shirt or some booty shorts and a tank top.

I sleep in the altogether, because I often get too warm or tangled if I wear anything.

Even though I'm still pretty small on top, I've learned not to roll over certain ways so I won't pin one of the girls under me uncomfortably.  I wear a bra all day; I can't imagine wearing one at night, too.

When I got GRS, my daughter told me that when she was little her mother told her to never wear panties to bed because: "That stuff has to air out."  I wore pads when I was early post-op, but once I stopped leaking I've been letting that stuff air out.  (And if the sheets get a little stained, that's why they make stain-remover.)

I usually sleep in a simple cami or shelf-bra cami with sleep shorts/pants, or if it's warmer, just a thong.

I'd pondered this and simply wandered various clothes stores until I found something I'd feel comfy in. My problem was that racks of Snoopy-decorated nighties and strappy camisoles suited neither my personality or my manly shoulders, and yet they are the norm.

I opted for the same kind of chequered pyjama bottoms I've worn for ages, and bought the top half of a nice cotton set; a soft and clingy v-neck top.. with a hood. :D Hoods are fun and cosy. It feels girly, but looks androgynous enough to mean the postman won't think twice if I have to collect a package at the door. Seeing a torso-stubbled 'bloke' answer in a camisole without much to support.. not really a nice option.

lol I'm beyond caring what the postman thinks... I'll answer the door in strappy cami top and sleep shorts with an overnight growth of facial hair without even thinking twice... heehee

The best sleeping in a bed that is dark and quiet!  AND while wearing nice nylon nightgowns.  The longer the better.  Nylon is fun and feels good while rolling about in bed.

I have a totally gorgeous pink fluffy house coat that I originally bought for after having a shower, matched with pink  slippers.   My new neighbours met me yesterday in the front garden wearing them as I collected the paper. Of course no wig, or make up with facial hair and of course ear rings and left over lippy. I think they might move again

haha, I have heard that too.  Thats why I wear loose cotton boxers to bed.. allows plenty of draft.

I've always slept naked. when I started shaving everything, I tried sleeping in gowns because by the second night being prickly was uncomfortable (as in where your arm lays against your chest or whatever) until my wife bitched so much about it that I went back to nude after I got my epi.

When (if?0 all the modifications are made, my expectation is that there will be times I'll wear nightie type stuff just to revel in my girlyness, but a lot of the time I'll still go with "naked"

I can't imagine sleeping in PJs cause i just get too tangled up when i turn over (thought that might have to do with being chubby too)

Pretty much this...

I actually wear my PJs all day most days... though in summer it's a singlet and either PJ pants, underwear or silk style shorts I have which I love :P

My friend, you are a girl. You already have your answers!

Semantics aside however I sleep in pajamas (short sleeved long trousered). I can't speak for people with boobs, but I tried wearing a bra to sleep in and it was very uncomfortable. I guess that's because my body wasn't designed for a bra (yet).

What is a babydoll?

Quote from: WikipediaA babydoll is a short, sometimes sleeveless, loose fitting nightgown or negligee intended as nightwear for women. It sometimes has formed cups called a bralette for cleavage with an attached loose fitting skirt falling in length usually between the upper thigh and the belly button. The garment is often trimmed with lace, ruffles, appliques, marabou fur, bows and ribbons, optionally with spaghetti straps. Sometimes it is made of sheer or translucent fabric like nylon or chiffon or silk.

I've tried on a couple (maybe few?) babydoll style sleepwear. There was one I wore often until me and my ex s.o. split. I made sure it was in that pack, to go wherever those feet go, and not my pack, which stays with me. I guess it lost its sentimental value.... a familiar feel and hug. We learn the curse of how routines rotten communication between two.

I don't think I wore pink colors like that since earlier this year. I'm not gonna refuse such thoughtful treasures, however, handed to me for me or acquired likewise in subtle surprises.

What woman doesn't sleep in her Man! Shouldn't be a question.

Actually, it is a question. New era... new fashion to consider... climate check... poetic paralanguage... high five down the hallway as a couple switches rolls. One of those mood stones may hint at a style to wear... you'll figure it out one way or another.

You got there before me Janet, only saw this post now, I mostly sleep in my babydoll, my Husband gave me a present of a babydoll negligee with matching frilly knickers which I wore on our wedding night, he then slowly unpacked his princess lol so I guess it will always have a little sentimental value, it has nice cups for my girls to sit in, very similar to that photo, Iv about 8 in total in different colors, purple, black, lilac, peach and a baby pink just like this, http://www.rokit.co.uk/product_image.php?product_id=WC550079&pic=WC550079.jpg  just makes me feel attractive and feminine for my Husband, thats what he wants and thats what he gets.

I'm a bio girl, but an ftm. Before I even came out or anything, I just wore pj bottoms, and a t shirt. I know a lot of girls don't, but I always wear a bra to bed. I have since puberty. If I don't they hurt like a bitch. :D

Depending on the bra, it can be awkward, but sports bras work well for me at night.
