I was wondering, if people would see and know instantly what gender I am. (Do not want.) Or they don't know and can't figure it out. (do want.)

Oh course I need alittle work, I just got it to this.  :embarrassed:
Oh and what would you call it besides being an androgyne. A drag prince maybe? It sounds kinda cute. ^_^

I just wanted to say nice ornament around your neck in the second image. You are a fan of Naruto?

BlackRabbit

Lulz, thank you, and yes I am. Naurto's actually my favorite, followede closely by Sasuke. Love your Display pic by the way.

Thanks. I'm sure you have recognized who it is.

You are very pretty in both images. I don't know, if that is what you are looking for through...

You have a lot of feminine features. I'm kind of envious.

I would say female, not andro at all.  Want to be honest with you.

You have a beautiful face and lovely eyes that's for sure.
Large eyes are a female trait, women have on average
eyes 50% bigger proportionally to head
(mostly due to male bossing making eyes appear smaller)
and obviously impossible to hide. Though subtle
makeup maybe could make them look smaller.
(if its not subtle it would have the opposite effect
of making them more feminine).

Subtle corrective makeup could make your face look more
angular, buts its hard to pull off for amateurs.

I see this kind of haircut on women all the time around here
so that colors my interpretation no doubt.
I love your hair, it has mucho sheen.

Not sure how to make it more androgynous.
Maybe untrimed eyebrows would help?

Hey Blackrabbit,

While you have many feminine features, I think you have a fair bit of leeway to play with by, as Keira said, growing your eyebrows out. Also, a different hairstyle, more masculine or unisex would help, just be careful of not going too male, otherwise you will end up looking like a butch girl instead. Understated is the watchword here, so look through some magazines and speak to a good stylist.

Make-up is probably not the road you wanna go, but by using some of the same techniques that CD's use to feminise their faces, only in reverse, could also help alot.

Longer term though, you want some leaning out of the face and fat-redistribution more than anything else, and the only way to do so is through partial transition, with VERY low doses of T. That of course means finding a sympathetic therapist, which is a lot harder for androgynes than for TS', methinks.

Sorry I can't be more helpful honey, but you can do a fair bit with corrective make-up and a different cut. Perhaps the other androgynes and the FtM's will be able to give you better advice, so it might be worth reposting this topic into the FtM boards as well - don't know if duplicate posting is acceptable at Susan's, but you could maybe ask a moderator to move your post to the more general TG section, or you could post another topic in FtM with a link to this one.

...I'm sorry...I could not help myself...

I also think you have a feminine (and pretty!) face, but the hairstyle in the top photo accentuates it a bit.  The bottom photo is harder to tell, but I guess it would be from that angle.  (don't feel bad though...I have a SUPER girly face)

PS...I think "drag prince" is an adorable term...:D

I love it, so cute. I'm going to steal your term and call myself a drag princess.

Maybe I'm getting too old to be a princess. I'm probably more like a Drag Contessa.

You do look pretty feminine, but I know exactly how you feel about not wanting to have people go "That's a female" right away. I have to agree with everyone that the haircut doesn't help your case of wanting to look neutral but you are very attractive.

A shorter haircut that's a little more maleish is probably the easiest thing you can do without doing anything else major (it's what I did).

you are gorgeous, but your hairstyle is quite feminine. For and andro look go for a GUYS skater cut. The flippy doo is super gender neutral. With that it will pull masculine features out more. Remember a feminine face does not pull away from your ability to be Andro, your mannerisms and behaviors will effect that much more.

You do look fairly feminine...
In the first picture however you are wearing a strictly girls top, you should change that if you want to look more masculine/androgynes.

From the pictures I think it is easy to notice your femine qualities but that does not mean you can't adopt more male ones..I have seen a lot of emo types that have confused me as to their true gender.

Kinkly

there are many ways to be androgyne one way is to hide all gendered markers the other is to add enough gendered markers from the "other" side so that people are confused which side of the fence you are on.  Seven is good with a draw on beard sie can probably give hints on how that worked for them.
for me I'm Male boddied full beard and always wearing breastforms and mostly fem clothes and I'm seen as gender diverse or gay by most people I think so it works for me.

I'm just a drag,

The bonus, you don't need to look androgynous to be an andro. Thank goodness.

Do you mind if I post my pics here? I want to ask the same question as you, or would you prefer me to start a new thread? I just don't want to be rude.

rite_of_inversion

It wouldn't bother me, but I'm not the OP.

I think anyone can look androgyne, really.  As Kinkly said, there's ways and ways.

Back in the 90's, I used to wear my floral skirts and paratrooper boots with my stirrup pants, my men's t-shirts and flannel overshirt if it was cold.

Back then though, I *just* thought I was dykey.  Now wondering how I could have been swimming in de'Nial for so long and not gotten wet...  ::)
