Dear Wendy: "My Boyfriend's Been Looking At Transgender Porn!"

"I have been with my boyfriend for just over a year now and things have always been great between us. In fact, we moved in together this summer and have blended our families. He's such a wonderful partner and we have never had any huge disagreements. Recently, he was having some computer issues and used my laptop while waiting for repairs. After this I found a stash of transgender pornography and websites about feminine men. To say I was shocked is not a big enough statement. He is a former Marine and a complete "Man's Man."

So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss.
If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

I was about to say almost the same thing, that he's not likely TS himself, but a ->-bleeped-<- or fetishist. He may even be a closeted gay male who uses ->-bleeped-<- porn because he can rationalize it that they are "women with something extra".

The homophobic slurs are likely proof that he is a closeted gay male and has to prove how straight he is in public by bashing them because he likely feels guilty for liking that stuff. Oftentimes, the most openly homophobic men are the most likely to be gay themselves, or at the very least bisexual.

That's why I don't bother with dating sites, especially trans-related, because many of them men there are likely using assumed names and identities because they don't want their RL people to know what their kinks are. So it is very likely that they just want to get their jollies and be done with you. There would most likely be no chance of building anything real, because to them you'd just be some dirty secret, a hidden fetish they indulge in now and then before going back to their "normal" life.

I detest ->-bleeped-<- ->-bleeped-<-s and fetishists.

You girls are more on topic than I am..
I read the headline and my brain only responded with one question....

... How can porn be transgender? Does pornography have a gender identity? Does it have a sex? How does that work?

I am of 2 minds when it comes to the ->-bleeped-<-s.
1. I like it when I am sexualy desired. I do not get alot of that.
2. Ewwww. WTF? Why do they get off on trans bodies? The very thing we hate about ourselves is what they want.

Quote from: the articleOur sex life has always been satisfying but now I am starting to analyze everything...

Let me guess: this boyfriend is gentle and attentive to your needs and knows how to give and how to receive and takes just as much pleasure in giving you pleasure as receiving pleasure from you.

Poor girl just learned the joys of lesbian sex.

There's no conflict in my mind: I like being desired, but not when I'm desired for things that I find extremely unpleasant.

Yes, I know, that sucks for me, because it means I have trouble trusting that people who find me attractive actually see me not as some exotic specimen, but as a person, as a woman, as the woman I am.
All changes, even the most longed for, have their melancholy; for what we leave behind us is a part of ourselves; we must die to one life before we can enter another.

The "funny" part, he was always making comments like "I hate ->-bleeped-<-gots" and such.  I also know he takes frequent trips to New Orleans.  We can only guess what for.  ::)

The amount available seems to indicate there is a demand.

I take the view that those who like that sort of thing are closet homosexuals.

Personally, I'm not offended in the least, to be honest. I only feel a whole lot of pity that they are so confused and ashamed with who they are that they need to make these violent and vociferous statements about gay people.

When some guy, in a group of guys, complains about gay people looking at his bottom, I wonder how much time he spends examining it himself?

It does seems to Dee. Those that play with nazism, even just to offend, are playing a very dangerous game. Nazis and fascists are a nasty bunch.

My comment was directed at those that make these sort of comments, generally. To coin a phrase, that doth protest too much.

People who are obscessed with what others do in private are just weird. But clearly motivated by more than simply being annoying.
