Just wanted to say that I took my first  suger cane bath and it was great. All of the grease and oil was gone and my skin was very soft. ;D

Ok Lainey, do tell. What is a sugar cane bath??? What am I missing ?? Or is this just something you folks in the mid west do?? I picture being a little sticky, for a while after you get out. :D

It does sound suspiciously Mid western.

But then again, many good things come out of the mid west. American beef for example. (Which really should have a different name becuse comparing American beef to the shoe leather they serve on this side of the pond is a bit silly).

I was searching online for something to help me with my oily skin. I found that suger cane is used in body scrubs to make skin soft. I thought it was going to be sticky too, but it wasn't. It took off that flacky skin that comes with oily face. when water is added the suger has an acid like compond that removes oil and dead skin. you can get it from the grocery store. make sure that it says cane suger on it. the other suger don't work.

mix a little water into it and rub it into what ever area you wish just keep it a way from eyes and nose it may burn. let it set for a minute and wash it off in the tube.

I also take olive oil baths too. it has helped me feel more girly mentally and fiscally also. If you try it let me know how it works out for you. ;D

P.S We always look for home remedies before searching for stuff that don't work or cost to much. lol. ;)

Sounds like a salt rub.   Small hand full of salt, even table salt, and a little olive oil in the palm over your hand.  Rub all over.  Nice smooth skin and also deep cleans.

Wow, that's brilliant. I'll have to try it myself XD

Kind of ironic, though. They say sugary foods makes your body oily, and yet bathing in the stuff cleans you right up XD

I may try the salt and olive oil rub too.
