I know these posts are a few months old, but I thought I put somethign here anyway.
No, you dont have to do 2years RLE before T. Im being seen at the Nottingham clinic too, they let me start T after seeing me 4 times, which is about right they say. But it is true that they wont put you forward for any surgery untill youve done your 2 years, and this two years starts from the date you started T. Which I think is ridiculous.
Unfortunately (and I am very sorry about this, I can tell you how much it sucks) they wont take your past into consideration. Theyve refused to acknowledged the fact that Id been living my life as me for a few years before theyd first even seen me, this included the 15month wait they had me on their waiting. (Thankfully theyve changed this long waiting list crap! :p)
I was referred to them in 2007, but only now have they just said they will put me forward for surgery (and the reason for this is not that I wasnt ready etc, there have been alot of messups!

) but because theyve made me wait so long, I am now warned, not to "get my hopes up" as the Nottingham pct are being very strict with funding etc so may not fund my surgery.
I am looking into moving to charing cross at the moment, as Ive readthey refer you for chest surgery after being on T 6months, so I should definitely have a shorter wait with them. Sorry this has goenoff topid, this is one of my first few points and just ended up rambling! :p
Ive been at the Nottingham clinic for awhile, so if there is anything youd like to ask, feel free
