Gender and the Frisbee

It occurs to me that I am a judgmental person. I tend to segregate people in my mind according to how favourably I perceive them. Maybe it's a leavover from the hypocrisy of small town Catholicism (I will state that I have less dislike for the religion itself and more for those who so zealously guard their narrow interpretations of the gospels), or maybe it's that I am fairly sensitive as a person and very wary about who I let surround me. In either case, I have a tendency to categorise people, and those who don't make it into my favour almost always slip to the part of my mind that regards them with a level of derision.

This can be especially true for other transpeople. There is a natural tendency for transpeople to disagree on the exact definitions or processes that qualify one as transsexual, or that add to one's validity in transition.
