That's what I thought too.

I, for one, do not want any periods.  However, I would put up with it if it meant being female.

I don't know why anybody would insist on wanting an uncontrolled hemorrhage.  That doesn't sound like a favorable condition to be in.

OMG trust me if i could trade you my guy body parts (presurgery) then i would do it in a heartbeat. I HATED HATED my penis...it was the worst curse. i woke up every day with a boner and wished to god that it would go away

Uhhh, to return to the topic, I just tell myself to "take it like a man" to get through it.  Some people have an angel or a devil on their shoulder, but I have a teeny, tiny drill sergeant yelling at me to "get over it" and "be a man" about it.  It's hardest to do at first, not just when you're young, but on the first day each time, but after a while you get into a routine about it. 

I've gone through a few different types of birth control in order to find what makes me bleed the least, last the shortest, and hurt the least. Granted, getting pumped with female hormones sucks, but I would rather deal with the hormones than deal with my PMDD.

How do I deal with it? I just do my best to forget it's going on.

I'd get depressed and withdraw into my own little world and not see much of what was happening outside of that.  Glad that has all gone away.

I was lucky in that i didnt have to deal wth cramps, i did have bloating, an my periods lasted 7-8 das, so that sucked.  i always used tampons, because penetration doesnt bother me, and the tampons let me forget about it, pants were disgusting to me, i hated feeling the blood come out when i stood up, and it felt like a diaper.

i dont really remember how I delt with the dysphoria and anger it caused me

having had many a Pagan ex-girlfriend, and a worshiper of the old gods, I. Am. So. Sorry.  That's way more celebratory than my relatives tried, and so much more of a knife to the guts.

If only we could switch gender parts. I would trade you my female part for your male part. This includes internal organs too!

Having PMS sucks. Whenever I have them I generally stay home for the period of time. I don't need to exhibit my frustrations and PMS juice to people. I prefer to ride it out at home, and then go back out in public viewing once I'm over with it.

I'm going to try to persuade my ob gyn to possibly get me on T... to end my periods because I become suicidally depressed whenever I'm PMSing. I sometimes feel the urge to want to harm others... if you know what I mean. The feeling isn't good. Being inside of a woman's body is a curse! I don't know what my ancestors did to someone, but they manage to screw with me well enough!

I was thinking the same thing about her.

I can ignore it until I go to the bathroom and then of course it's obvious. Lucky for me I don't get a heavy period but it lasts longer and then I start again 2 1/2 weeks later

Elijah, I agree  tampons are the best way for me to handle them until I can get on T.  Hopefully I can get a total hyster in a few years and be rid of my girly parts altogether.
