for me, It feels so good to be thought of as male..i love being the man in a relationship...I love being the romancer. I long to make my girl feel special and treat her like a queen. It brings me great joy to go out of my way for her and to see her face light up is all the reward I need. I could never do this as female...and quite frankly I don't want to. And to think it took a cross gender experience to open up my eyes! Or maybe I'm just a man-wannabe. Idk yet...but the joy of being male far outweighs the joy I had as female.  I have a strong desire to be the man of some girls dreams. Maybe someday ..

hi Alex. Keep those thoughts. Every girl wishes to meet a guy like you. I long for romance and respect.

It sounds like you know what you want.  Knowing is half the battle.

Some of can and do!

I'm a rule breaker. I love being the romancer in a relationship - but as a female. Just ask my Alison! ;D

At the end of the day there are no rules in this worth following - so just be what you want to be and be happy.

Yes, my wife initiated the romance we have.  We were good friends up to that point, but, apparently she got sick of waiting for me to get the hint.  :)  That's probably a good thing that she did initiate, as that's just something I probably could never do (I just didn't have the confidence).  It was a very wonderful day for both of us when she did it (although I think she was literally shaking - which was cute - although probably not shaking nearly as much as when I proposed!).

It's one of the things that makes our relationship neat - it's unique to the two of us.  Sometimes we follow the rules, sometimes we don't.  :)

That said, to the original poster, as far as your discovery: cool - it's neat when we find our place in the world and find out what is right for us.  :)

I was always the romancer in my relationships when I lived as female. You certainly don't have to be a guy to do that.
