Wow, so THAT explains it!  I really crave salty things.  But I try not to over do it with that. I'll make some popcorn (because this girl is on a diet).
I try to drink a lot a lot alot of water.
Sometimes I'll crave Steak too.
Ok, so I'm not crazy. It is the HRT working on me.
Whew.

  • several things I can't think of now...

Having just shed about 15 pounds after SRS, my advice is to EAT. Eat a LOT. If you don't have some body fat to chew through after surgery, you'll suffer and feel very ill.
And you, my friend, are very skinny.

I'm not that skinny...honest, my BMI is just below 20. That's well within healthy range.

You have a heavier skeleton, due to your first puberty.
BMI is also only a rough guide and generally, well, pretty useless as an indicator of health.

Well that didn't work for some reason [confused face]

I genuinely don't have that heavy a skeleton, i was one of the lucky ones that never really masculinised. If you don't belive me just ask jenny :-)

I have always had a craving for carbs since starting HRT more so since starting on IMI, and the boobies, Ya they ache hear and now, but thats a good sign! There growing

I love the hair cut!

I'm not sure if you have fine hair like mine but if you do maybe theirs hope for me to look that good with that style.

Problem is I'm not out yet,  :-\so I don't think I could wear it well.

I have that same color and style cardigan  :)(somewhere) I wore it back in my cd days. Maybe I'll have to dig it out. I'm one that never purged anything if I thought it may work again someday.

Oh by the way!

You look great !

Mine is at about an 18

It was at about a 16, basically had about 6% body fat and very little muscle.

I don't know your height or what your weight is but I think (hope) my body shape may look as well as yours.

I'm 5'7" maybe 5'8"
weight 125
small frame

I'm sure though my arms arn't as long as yours. (I wish)

For the first month ish, my chest was always kinda sore and at times it hurt, but now I'm getting boobs, they don't really hurt but the little balls inside are so sensitive, they are always sore to the touch. :(

And I did love food before but now I feel like I crave junk food worse than ever! :(

The width of your shoulders in your pics would lead me to believe otherwise. I've also seen pics of you pre-transition and you fit pretty well into the male norm before you started on hormones. Also, considering the amount of facial hair you had, I don't see how you can claim that you never really masculined - that would be my claim to fame should I be inclined to parade it around, since I haven't had a shred of hair removal. But I'm aware that lacking hard evidence, it would be foolish to claim that I don't have a typical male skeleton and only wishful thinking to claim that I don't.
Unless Jenny is a physician and has taken bone density samples or done xrays, I don't see how she can validate your claim.

:police: Right having now spoken privately to the two protagonists in this I am going to unlock this thread. It will remain unlocked as long as everyone plays nice and remembers the rules. Talk about the topic in reasonable manner and do NOT start hurling bricks at each other please.

Helena - as you well know I have indeed suggested to you that you might find it enlightening to get some screening and genetic testing done, but from my own direct experience I can tell you that it is very difficult to predict the outcome of such testing from external signs as the genes which control Androgen reception are surprisingly complex. Thus single gene faults in the five or six different pieces of genetic code responsible can cause all sorts of low grade anomalies which is why low grade PAIS is notorious difficult to diagnose. However as Vexing has pointed out I am indeed not medically qualified and thus any PRIVATE observations I made were not intended to be taken as in any way definitive, or indeed used as ammunition in a thread like this.

Vexing is therefore correct in the observations that she has made and indeed I am now on record with both of you as agreeing with most of what she said even if I might have phrased it rather more delicately. Seen in the flesh Helena is indeed quite small in stature, and has responded exceptionally well to her HRT but this does not make her any better or worse than any other member, just a bit luckier perhaps, and I think she now realises that perhaps what she posted was not optimally expressed.

Accordingly I would ask you, Vexing, to please try to slightly moderate your robust approach when pointing out someone else's regrettable error.

Please resume your discussion in a cordial manner. I will be watching and any further breaches of TOS will result in a permanent relock and official warnings being handed out!

Thank you for your attention ladies. Please don't let me down here - I am sticking my neck out in taking this course. I'd prefer not to have it chopped off by anyone. :police:

Fair enough Jenny. for the record i wasn't trying to claim that there was anything going on in regards to any potential IS condition, all i wanted to point out is that i have a very slight frame for a genetic male (whatever the ultimate cause may be) and as you've met me in the flesh you could confirm this as true (which you just did).

This looks like a classic crossed wires situation and i can see how the way i said things, while accurate in one sense, could be read in another way entirely. I don't think i'm better than anyone, i just got lucky in a few areas, that's all.

On original point... So what you're saying is that when you're a complete and utter pain in the tits you can be fixed by a bag of chips?

I have to say, getting back to something like the OT. A few weeks into hrt, breast pain was a novelty and quite exciting. Now (six months later) I'm just really sick of it! :icon_evil:

Actually that was arrogant of you, Vexing.  First you begin to agree and then decide to carry on the inflaming.

Enough already.
