As far as a therapist goes if there is a LGBT center near you they might be able to help find one. A lot of them work on a sliding scale fee. An experienced therapist should be able to help you with not only with coming to terms with this but they should be able to point you toward the resources you need.

Keep digging in the forums there is a lot of good information here.

Firstly hun, you've made the most important step...that is the first one. transition is a long and winding road and yes, at the start it can kind of be confusing, but you know what, we is here to help like and we will, so keep on reading, ask questions (even really obvious ones) and start taking little baby steps one at a time until all of a sudden you turn round and you can't believe how far you've come.
