My feet and hand are always cold now. It used to be, when my wife and I got into bed at night. She was the one with cold feet and hands. Now it is the opposite.
Women really do feel the cold more than men, but this is because they are better at conserving heat than men. Women have a more evenly distributed fat layer and can pull all their blood back to their core organs.However, this female heating system means that less blood flows to their hands and feet, and as a result they feel cold. So there is literal truth in the old saying cold hands, warm heart.
We had snow here yesterday. It doesn't really get that cold here on the coast of Oregon. Certainly not as cold as on the east coast or the midwest, but none the less, it is cold today. So does that mean I will be wearing socks to bed and a big warm comfy house coat..... ABSOLUTELY NOT , there will be NO flannel in my wardrobe!! I have waited all my life to be able to wear the fashions that I am able to , now. So that means I will be the one that is wearing a skirt, trudging through the snow in some fashionable boots, and even though my wife has felt my cold hands, many time before. I will still slip them down her back and say, "feel how cold my hands are". IT'S PAY BACK TIME !!!! And when she snuggles up behind me , I will wait till she is least expecting it, then push my cold feet against her warm legs. then she will try to move away , only to have my feet follow her every move, as if they are glued to her, "get some socks on !!!" Sorry but socks are NEVER sexy.
