So, today I had my first solo appointment with my therapist. My wife & I have been seeing her together -- so it's been the 4th time I have seen her but the 1st time alone.
She started the session off - after doing a check in - stating that she knows I look to her as a gatekeeper. But that she has no doubts that surgery and T is appropirate for me. That she will write the letters necessary for whatever I want to do. That she & I will write the letter together and she won't put anything in it that I don't want. So, my next assignment is to contact my T doctor and the top suregry surgeon and find out what the requirements are for them in my letter.
I am so on cloud 9!!!!
