I really like it, now that I pass most of the time ive noticed how much society around me has changed, because they view me differently, I get treated differently.  It also helps me realize that T was the right thing for me, because I LOVE the way I am treated now.

Like today, I was walking on campus to my next class, minding my own business when this middle aged guy with a lawn mower called me over "Sir, can you help me lift this onto the truck?"  So I walked over and gave him a hand lifting it. he said "I just needed a second hand, I don't have a ramp" or something like that.  he said thanks and I went on my way, wiping off the grass goo on my hands lol.

i thought it was really cool cause I knew I was being accepted as a man, and asked to help out, it was also cool helping someone lift something, it wasn't that heavy, but the extra muscles probably helped.  it was just awesome because I knew that he wouldn't have asked a girl to help him, i guess i just feel kinda honored to help, felt more a part of the 'male community'

if that makes any sense.

That's brilliant mate! I helped an old lady lift her suitcase onto the train the other day and felt not only manly, but very charitable too.  Wins all round  :)

That's kickass Elijah, I've never had that happen yet ( I blame my trenchcoat, it seems to intimidate people lol) but being sir'd or any form of guy recognition makes everything awesome for a while.

Nice, Elijah.  Walking out of WalMart one cold night, I had a random lady ask me to help her open a can of car door lock de-icer, lol.

That's so awesome, man!  ;D I feel great when my Dad asks for my help in the garage with lifting or with the car (its more because I'm the only child and the only one that can help, but I still get personal pride from it)

I can't wait until I get to that point though. It seems like it would be one of the ultimate confirmations.  :)

It's a nice feeling to have people think you're just an average guy just like anyone else.

It's also interesting when you've seen "both sides" and get to see how different people treat you based on what gender they perceive you to be.

Not got that yet, but Russian men are generally pretty determinedly independent anyway - maybe when I'm back in the UK it'll happen. I got to carry my girlfriend over a puddle the other day though - felt like such a gentleman saving the lady's feet from getting wet XD
