You know you're getting old when people ask where you're planning on being buried :P

You can't even count marshmallows anymore!

Hair starts to grow in places where you don't want it, and no longer grows in places where you used to have it.

The jeans you wore in highschool come back in style, for the third time.

You're the company HR manger and notice an applicant who was born two months before you graduated high school!
Happened to me two weeks ago :-(

You realise you now work with people who have kids, who were not even born when you graduated from your Police training.
"Don't ask me, it was on fire when I lay down on it"

Your baby sister's baby has her second baby.
Your co-worker reveals she was born after you were licensed - you've been working longer than this college graduate adult has been alive. (Like Justmeinoz)
You realize you were born before touch-tone phones, color TVs, computers (of any kind), word-processors, ATM's, cell phones, smart phones, most medicines in use now, and a continuing list of things - what is "texting" anyway, and why do it?
(Hey I still use a pager)

You realize that you became old enough to drink nearly thirty years ago

You remember how the picture on the TV used to slooooowly roll from top to bottom.........stupid vertical knob!

You remember watching a black and white television in a house without an air conditioner.
You remember having a telephone that was a party line.
You remember using an outhouse and bathing in a washtub with water heated on a wood stove.
You remember when "new math" in school was the addition of algebra. (which I still don't know what that is)

You can't get the petrol motor on your walking frame working.

<for justmeinoz> You take a reagent out of the fridge that has an expiry date before your Tech was born. It has happened to me.

You were born in a city and lived all your life in one, and still can recognize what is growing when you pass a farmer's field.
The snow really was deeper and winter really was colder when you were young.
You know what it means to change the points, gap your plugs, clean the carb, and tape the exhaust.
You remember fixing your vehicle with hand tools and flames from the exhaust from unburnt fuel making it to the tailpipe.
Party lines.
Mickey looked better in black and white.
You still hate the laundry wringer.

M2MtF2Ftm,
That sounds to me like a good way to live and bye the way brings back many fond memories from my childhood. And yes I know I am old because I can remember Howdy Doody Time and The Red Skelton show, when everybody who had a tv only had one and had regular visitors who wanted to watch it too.
