Happened to me two weeks ago :-(

You realise you now work with people who have kids, who were not even born when you graduated from your Police training.

Your baby sister's baby has her second baby.
Your co-worker reveals she was born after you were licensed - you've been working longer than this college graduate adult has been alive. (Like Justmeinoz)
You realize you were born before touch-tone phones, color TVs, computers (of any kind), word-processors, ATM's, cell phones, smart phones, most medicines in use now, and a continuing list of things - what is "texting" anyway, and why do it?

You were born in a city and lived all your life in one, and still can recognize what is growing when you pass a farmer's field.

wait a minute i don't have a TV or air conditioning (we hang in basement in summer) and i have an outhouse and i heat my water on the wood stove and use a long oval galvanized tub to bath in     am i young again     or maybe i never grew up

That sounds to me like a good way to live and bye the way brings back many fond memories from my childhood. And yes I know I am old because I can remember Howdy Doody Time and The Red Skelton show, when everybody who had a tv only had one and had regular visitors who wanted to watch it too.
