So today, I posted letters to my parents and brothers.

I'm not too worried about my older brother. My younger one will probably be a bit odd. My mom, not sure. My heterosexist dad is the one I'm worried about.

If he disowns me, big deal. I really couldn't care less. I just don't want any static.

*big BLEEPing sigh*

We'll see what happens...

Oh. Em. Gee.

My mom called today, asking me to drive up for a visit so we could talk about the letter. So on Monday 2 May I'll be going up there. Hopefully, it won't be too stressful for all parties concerned.

Constance

She sounded tired and surprised. No marvel, really.

She did say that she was happy that this is the right thing for me and she said she loved me. In a way, her reaction was not a surprise at all. It's my dad whose reaction I cannot predict at all.

But, I think this could be a hopeful thing. At least, I'm going to hold on to the idea it's a hopeful thing.

Nero

Sounds like a hopeful thing. Maybe she can work on your dad. Good luck hon!

So, my older brother came over for Easter (pizza) dinner while I was en femme. After dinner he had some questions but all went well.

Yesterday, the letter I'd sent to my younger brother was returned as undeliverable. Looks like I had the address wrong. So, I emailed him. He doesn't check email every day, so I might have to re-mail the letter.

I'll post an update after the Monday Meeting.

I'm proud of you, it's so much harder to write it out than to just say it in passing. No pun intended ;-)

Great for you, Shades.

Hope everything turns out better than expected.

Ya put your right foot in.  You put your right foot out.  You put your right foot in and you shake it all about.  You do the Andro-gyney and you turn yourself around.  That's what it's all about.
