Hi guys!
I was wondering if anyone had any advice - I stopped taking hormones in 88 after having my surgery, so basically been off them for 23 years. I have been reading how it's important to take something as it can cause problems with osteoporosis etc Not really sure where to start in finding out if I ought to be taking them again. My local doctor is very sweet but I am sure he will have no idea of dosage etc Anyone got any advice?
Thanks in advance

Thanks Karyn - maybe I just ought to go & talk to him, planning on having revision done at some point so could be worth talking to the surgeon at that point. :)

After my Orchidectomy, my Estradiol was cut in half.  And of course the Spriolactone was dropped.  If you do not have some kind of hormone, you risk osteoporosis.

Even if you detransition, you will need some kind of hormone.  Be it Estrogen or Testosterone.
