Today at around 12:15 pm I was wheeled into surgery and a bilateral orchiectomy was preformed.
I had to fight with the local medical establishment since August of last year. The entire time being eaten up by pain in my testies due to cysts and deformities down there.
But I finally got it done. And the best part is my insurance is paying. 8)

If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

Thanks folks!

Janet,
I was under general. It was surprisingly painless when I woke up and the initial pain I am feeling as it sinks in is tolerable and not as bad as I had anticipated. I did have a hard time getting an IV. It took 3 trys and too be honest I am surprised it didnt take four or five. As that is how many trys it ussualy takes to get an IV in me. I am a dificult stick to say the least. I only let one person do my blood draws when I go in for my once every three month check up.

The doctor gave me oxycodone for pain so I should be ok in that department. And if he didn't give me enough I have some pain pills left over from the bypass I had in March. 8)

I recall you discussing the difficulities you were having with this, last year. It was so furstrating then. I know many of us really felt for you.

Just can't begin to say how happy I am for you, to hear you have finally gotten rid of that bit.

congrats to you, but at the same time I can't help but roll my eyes at the sucky circumstances.

if you can't even get the evil twins removed when they are screwed up without fighting tooth and claw, that just goes to show how resistentthey are when there's no other issue.

I'm looking for a doc who I can go in, sign an informed consent, and set a date. My parts, my business.

It is now the next day and I am stoned on pain killers. I took a little more than I should have. 1 pill isnt enough and two is too much. I am betting 1.5 will be the ticket! lol

I have been grinning since I got home from the doctors. Inspite of the pain and foggy brain.

I guess that is a good sign eh? lol

Thanks for the support everyone!

Hugz and luv,

My pain killers took care of my back pain.  The surgery itself never hurt.

I don't get high on pain killers.

I take 90 mgs of morphiene daily so they had to give me pain killers with a little more umph than they tend to give those who are opiate niave.
