WOOT! It happened yesterday!

Okay, but I need to tell the whole story, because it's a funny one :P

First of all, I've spent the last few days at home sick, and yesterday morning was finally starting to feel better, so I ended up talking my parents into taking me to the markets and out to wineries with them for the day. It was late morning though so I didn't have time to shower, and my hair was in that horrible state where it's all oily and sticks flat against your head. Gross XZ

Anyway, we went around a few wineries, myself, my mother and step-father, and a family friend who is visiting. It's going to be TMI but the family friend had a bit of an upset stomach, and so spent a lot of time in the toilet. We'll come back to that in a bit :P

So I went to the toilet, using the women's because I don't pass at all :( And while I was in there heard this obnoxious 'Hurry up!!! I need to go to the toilet!!!' from a girl outside. There were only two stalls, and I knew the other was occupied so I hurried and flushed, then walked out without saying anything.

The girl (she would have been about ten) was stood outside waiting, and when she saw me went 'Oh!' all shocked, then sort of shuffled into the toilet and closed the door. While I was washing my hands in the mirror I saw her open the door again and stare at me, then close it. As I was leaving I looked back and saw again in the mirror that she'd opened the stall door and come out. Outside of the toilet was a small corridor, and just as I was at the end of it I looked back and noticed she'd come out and was staring at the sign on the door.

I figured maybe I'd confused her a little and shrugged it off.

It wasn't until we all got back to the car that I got the whole story. I didn't realise, but the family friend had been in the other cubicle, and she was lauging and telling about the girl, and just as she was saying 'And the other person must have felt bad and left' when I was like 'That was me!!!' Then she laughed and said, 'That explains the next bit! She tapped on the wall to my stall and said 'THere was a boy in the toilet!''.

We all cracked up and I felt so good because I'd passed so well :D Then to top it off, as we were driving home my step-father once again brought up the 'boy in the toilet' incident as it's now being known and everyone laughed and joked about it because I was a boy in 'the wrong toilet'. :P

Just wanted to share, my best experience so far I think :D Especially that my family seemed to find it as enjoyable as I did. My mum grinned at me like crazy :P

Haha awesome story! For some reason I think it's the kids who take us for male more than adults, in my experience.

Nice, glad you had a good day. It's great your family found it funny too.

That was a very amusing read, I know you gotta be ecstatic, thanks for sharing. I used to have similar things happen to me even well before I started on hormones or even before dressing more feminine, where I'd be in the men's room and a guy would walk in, then say excuse me, or sorry, and quickly walk back out embarrassed, then suddenly slowly open the door again and peek inside realizing that after he reread the sign on the door that he was in the right bathroom afterall, and then after a more careful look that I was a guy too, just had a smaller frame and long hair, because this was usually when I was at the sink washing my hands, so most of the time they initially saw me only from a quick glimpse of my back. But once I started dressing more in female clothing I had to start using the women's restroom, fine by me, that's really where I belonged anyway, but during the earlier times before any kind of transitioning I was scaring these poor guys into not using the men's restroom. But interestingly, ever since first using the lady's room, aside from those that already knew I was transgender, such as a restroom at a job, can't recall once where someone looked at me oddly or walked back out in distress, not yet, hopefully never, that wouldn't bode too well in the small town I live in.
