I agree. I saw it once and never want to see it again. It's terrifying :(

I couldn't watch the vid. again either... It is very disturbing for me

I hope they throw the book at that somethin', somethin'... Literally... And I hope it's a rather big, heavy book

But seriously, vicious people animals like that should not be allowed to roam the streets

Watched it once, but I wish I hadn't. I don't think anyone should be watching it other than the police.

There was a case in Vancouver recently of a rape that was taped and released onto the internet. Was horrifying listening to the parents of the 16-year-old victim begging people to stop circulating it because of the additional trauma it was causing their daughter.
There are sites that have a lax TOS that allow these low-life crud to post these things.  My mother's ex boyfriend, the psychologist said that some people really get sexually aroused by these things.  Back then there were the x-rated super-8 mm film reels that were available that had this crap either staged or real.  These were found in the possession of the arrested sexual offender patients he analyzed for the state.  He was not my dad the cad, but I learned a lot from him.  Funny, my niece is getting her PhD in this field!  Go Girl!
That is one of the reasons why Obama doesn't want to show that gruesome head shot.   I can imagine some of the different Photoshop variations on that!

These kinds of videos always whirl me up because it is pathetic the reaction of people during the attacks, etc.  That man shouldn't have been trying to pull them off but instead he should have just grabbed that bitch by the hair and thrown her against the far wall.  Same for her friend or worse.

People like this deserve whatever they get even as far as death in my eyes.

Jury charges teens with hate crimes in McDonald's beating attack
Beating caught on tape

Baltimore County - The teen-age girl charged in the video-taped beating of a transgender woman inside a McDonald's in Baltimore County will face a hate crime charge.

A 14-year-old girl remains charged as a juvenile as well.

[...]

Teonna Brown's attorney disagrees. He declined to speak on camera, but told ABC-2 news, "My client maintains her innocence. Anything that happened at the restaurant on her part was entirely in self-defense. She is a very nice young woman who lives with her mother. She is not the person the press is making her out to be. This was not a hate crime. It has nothing to do with the concept of a hate crime."

Brown's attorney told the Baltimore Sun his client would likely argue that she acted in self-defense, raising the possibility that she might invoke a trans-panic defense along the lines of defendants who use the so-called "gay panic defense" when charged in gay-bashing cases.

I hate that situation happened to her and it increases my fear of transitioning but glad that it is going to be properly treated as a hate crime.

It's nice that they've been charged with a hate crime but I'll be happier when they are convicted.

There is no reason to live in fear, just be aware of what is going on at all times. If someone comes at you, you attack and not cower. If they die in the process of defending yourself then, oh well. People that attack others due to their insecurities deserve to die, anyway.

God, I hate attorneys. "it's self defense" "she's a nice girl". What a bunch of bull->-bleeped-<-.

Well yeah, it is a load of BS... The Trans Panic and self defense argument is flimsy at best but the defense attorney has to at least try to pull a rabbit out of his hat in a case that even he knows they have no chance of winning

I think that this will be an open and shut case that will end in Ms. Brown doing some time

Yeah I'm always happy to see the trans panic defense because it's got a really, really, really bad track record in court.  The videotape alone convicts her.  Second offense, and what with EVERYBODY WATCHING she's going to get the max I bet.

And what's going to be her defense for hitting the bystander who did try to help?  Trans panic as well?  Self defense because the (smaller-than-her, much older) bystander was threatening to even the numbers?

Speaking of the numbers, considering the beating was two-on-one, I'd love to see how long the self-defense argument stands.  Their continued savagery after their target was clearly down?  Self-defense?  Really?

I agree with Tekla.  Betting she'll (deservedly) get the max for this one.

It all depends on the judge.

Judges know exactly how many people are watching, and lots of press on this one, it's an easy McRuff the Crime Dog time for the 'get tough on crime' people, it's the second offense that's going to hit her hard, not the hate crime part.

Just be sure the shots land in a way that prolongs the suffering but will result in death. ;3
