The warmer weather could do that, as our body's reason for growing body hair is to keep us warm. But as you're pre-t, it could be linked to your cycle. (Possibly triggering: reproductive stuff)
estrogen levels are highest during ovulation, with testosterone levels peaking at the end of the period. Since body hair is a male trait, encouraged by male hormones, the fluctuation in them could cause the hair follicles to be less supportive of hair growth and sustainability during different hormonal peaks. (Not a medical diagnosis, just an educated guess)
other than that, it may have always been happening, you just might be noticing it more because the hair is longer.
