Inspired by some of the members here I thought it would be fun for us to write a sitcom.  For reference check out the thread "RLE Has Some Surprises".  Julie plays the part of Felix Unger and Sandy plays Oscar Madison.

Scene 1:  Julie is in her kitchen cleaning when her cell phone rings.  She checks the caller ID and sees "Sandy"

Julie: "Hey girl!  How's things?"

Sandy with a shakey voice: "She threw me out.  I need a place to lay my head for a day or two."

Julie: Sure, no problem.  When?

Sandy: I'm already on my way.

A couple of minutes later there's a knock on the door.  Julie answers to find Sandy who is in drab.

Julie: Oh, that was fast.

Sandy: I was in the driveway when I called.

Julie invites her in but is obviously bothered by the way she looks.

Julie: Uh, if you want I have some makeup and clothes that might work better than that.

Julie has to have EVERYTHING just so.

Sandy: Sure, that sounds great!

Julie takes Sandy upstairs, hands her some clothes, shows her the makeup and quickly exits.  She has no idea what is in store for her....

Scene 2: Sandy returns with all dolled up and with a big smile on her face.

Sandy: Thank you!  I can't tell you how much that means to me.

Julie: Well, what are friends for?  So tell me about it.

Sandy: I just couldn't stand it anymore so I had to leave.

Julie: I thought you said you were thrown out.

Sandy: Did I?  Oh well, it doesn't matter.  I'm out.  Speaking of being out...

They talk for several hours when a friend calls Julie.  In all the excitement Julie forgot they were supposed to go out to dinner this evening.

Julie:  Hi Judy!

Judy:  Hey girl, are we still on for dinner?

Julie explains the situation.

Judy:  Well I could just come over there.

Julie: Sure that sounds great!  I'll run upstairs and fix myself up.  See when you get here!

Julie tells Sandy the plans and then goes upstairs to freshen up.  On the way she passes the guest bathroom and sees a horrible mess.  She walks in and there's clothes strewn on the floor, makeup all over the counter.  An open lipstick container had fallen in the sink leaving a red streak on the side of the sink and smashing the end of the lipstick.  The bathroom was immaculate before and now it looked like a tornado hit.  Julie then straightens out the mess and heads to her room to fix herself up, all the while shaking her head wondering what happened in that bathroom.  When she's ready she returns downstairs.

Julie: Sandy, what happened in the bathroom?

Sandy looks puzzled.

Sandy: What bathroom?

Julie: The one upstairs you used to change in.

Sandy: Nothing.  I just changed then came down here.

Wondering how anyone could miss the huge mess Julie chooses to say nothing.  Then Sandy goes upstairs for a minute and returns.

Sandy: I just checked the bathroom.  It looks fine.

Julie: Yes, I cleaned it.

Sandy: Oh thank you!  How sweet of you!

To everyone: feel free to add a scene and insert yourself as a character.  With just the two of us it's going to get boring.

Scene 3:  Julie and Sandy are planning a small party.  Sandy has to run out and get a few things.  While she's out Julie waxes the wood floors on the first floor.  Just as she sits down to relax she hears the door to the garage open.

Sandy: I'm back!

Julie: I'm in here!

Julie is sitting in the study, on the opposite side of the house from where Sandy came in.  Then she sees Sandy walk in.

Sandy: Well I had an interesting time.  I saw the future ex and she was her pleasant self.  I can say one thing for sure, there's no way I'm going back, EVER!

Julie: Well, while you were gone I waxed all the floors.

Suddenly Sandy looks down at her feet.  Julie then does the same and sees a puddle forming from the melted snow she tracked in.

Sandy: I guess I'd better take off my shoes then.

Julie looks down the hallway and sees a trail of wet footprints an the newly waxed floor.  :eusa_doh:  The next thing she sees is Sandy on her hands and knees cleaning up the mess.

Julie: Kids!

Scene 4:

Sandy has just finished cleaning up the mess while Julie has decided to take a break and watch some TV.

Sandy: I'm all done.

Julie: Great.  Let me take a look.

Julie walks in and sees that Sandy has indeed sopped up the water mess where she was standing and along the entire hallway, but now there's an even bigger problem.

Julie: Where did you get those towels from?

Sandy: From the laundry pile.  They were closer so I didn't have to walk as far.

Julie: Did you look at those towels *before* you soaked up the water?

Sandy: No.  Why?

Julie looks up and down the hallway which is utterly smeared with the makeup of various colors from the towels that she had used to clean up the bathroom earlier.  It's now a mozaic of color.  Then Julie looks at Sandy.

Sandy: What?

Julie: Didn't you notice that the ALL of the towels in the laundry room were literally caked with makeup?

Sandy (looking disheveled): Yeah, but I thought it would stay on the towel.

Julie: Obviously not.

Sandy: Ok, I'll clean it up.  Let me get some towels from the laundry room.
