Has anyone had any luck with Underworks' swimming binder...thing?

For reference, I'm fat and my chest is a 40-something D. My girlfriend's getting up my ass about me not wanting to go swimming and I'd really love to get out to a lake sometime this disgustingly hot summer.

I haven't tried it, but I remember some guy on here saying it didn't work well for him.
Oh I'm a lucky man to count on both hands the ones I love

A blah blog

I just swim in one of my old binders and board shorts plus a t-shirt ... works for me

I guess I would swim by a binder and dark tshirt,

but right for the moment I refuse to swim before having my top surgery..
(even when I really love too)

I've heard mixed reviews on it.

I just swim in my regular binder with a black under-armor shirt over it. I use a small t-shirt, and two black under-armor shirts over that if I'm swimming in a chlorinated pool, since right now all I've got is this one binder, and I don't want to wear it out any more than it is. XD

Well, i just got mine this month. I've worn it a couple of times and i have to say it's comfortable, dries quickly, and binds better than a regular bathing suit. No where near as powerful as a tri-top or other regular binder, but better than nothing. I think if they put another layer of binding in there, it would be near as good as some regular binders.

I'm trying to get photos to compare bathing suit with the binder, but it's hard. I'm not very photogenic! If i get photos, i'll post them.

I bought the Underworks swim binder, tried to get it on, got it on... and the moobs squished out the sides. FAIL. I know I got the right size, because not only did I do the measurements, but all my other binders are that size. There's a lot of variability from style to style.

I just use an old microfiber compression tee I have from Underworks, and it's fairly effective.

Speaking of which, anyone interested in buying a brand spankin' new swim binder, size M?

I went swimming with my tri top under an under armour tank top.  it was comfortable enough, and dried pretty quick.   I was swimming in a lake, so no issues with chlorine or anything.

I went swimming in my apartment pool with my roommate and a friend of his I'd just met. I wore my underworks muscle shirt binder and swim trunks, he did ask why I wore the shirt but my roommate just said I was self-conscious. I passed completely. But i don't have a size D chest. I would use whatever binder you have with a dark shirt over top. my roommate did that and he had DDs and passed just fine.

In my experience, getting binders wet makes them stretch out when they dry and I'm too paranoid to go swimming...although when I did in the past I wore a few tri tops and a snowboarding type shirt, you know the kind that's made of jersey sort of material....it worked ok...but I wouldn't do it again, cause I'm paranoid about it

I swim a lot in salt and fresh water, and although I'm skinny and have never tried the Underworks swimming suit I thought I'd add some advice..

In my experience if you wear a regular t-shirt over top of a binder, when you come out the water the t-shirt will literally suction to your torso and arms unless it's 3 sizes too big for you, because the sleeves don't allow enough air through. Obviously none of us want that to happen since you might as well just be wearing a second skin. It's better to wear a sleeveless shirt such as a muscle top, or a 'wifebeater' type tank, OR a rashguard that's made of mesh.
