I come out to people online all the time

Because, well, it is completely safe... and they don't know me in real life
I'm confident in being trans. I think it is a good thing and there is nothing to be ashamed of. If they have a problem, it is THEIR problem (and they are ignorant).
Sooo, when playing games, if someone asks "are you a girl?" (this question comes up a lot, people like to check gender online

)...i answer "lol kind of", and then if they go "kind of?" i go "i'm trans"...which typically gets a "oh, cool" response. ((If there is anything negative, I'm good at trash talking

))
And in an IRC i hang out at, I am completely free with mentioning I'm trans (or talking about trans stuff, which most people just find interesting and I don't mind answering some questions).
I don't come out to people as freely in person though (because it might be awkward, and I still look very male).... but if I start to get questioned on my gender, I will be pretty open with it. There are a group of people in my every day life that know though, and I don't mind chatting with them about trans stuff in public where others might overhear.
Basically, I was a guy (kind of?)... now I'm becoming a girl (kind of?)... I don't consider myself either one really, so "trans" is what I am instead. For anyone to have a problem with what I am, they better be able to back up why (and that might be a little difficult for them to do ... though, I'm open to making them look like a fool when they try

).
