I was playing Saints Row 2 online, and there was some prick who got all butthurt that I was dominating him, so he sends me a message which says "You're gay". I just replied "That's rude" and went back to playing the game, but now thinking back, I wonder how funny it would have been to instead say "Lawl I'm an mtf ->-bleeped-<-, you'll have to come up with something better than that".

I was also watching this video vlog from some girl on Youtube, and she said that she sometimes told men trying to hit on her that she was transsexual to scare them off. Sounds a bit reckless but imagined myself doing it sometimes. :P She said it usually works, except for some who become really "interested" and ask her questions about it.

Have you ever thought about just doing something like that? Or have you done something like that? haha

I come out to people online all the time :D Because, well, it is completely safe... and they don't know me in real life :)

I'm confident in being trans. I think it is a good thing and there is nothing to be ashamed of. If they have a problem, it is THEIR problem (and they are ignorant).

Sooo, when playing games, if someone asks "are you a girl?" (this question comes up a lot, people like to check gender online :P)...i answer "lol kind of", and then if they go "kind of?" i go "i'm trans"...which typically gets a "oh, cool" response. ((If there is anything negative, I'm good at trash talking :P))

And in an IRC i hang out at, I am completely free with mentioning I'm trans (or talking about trans stuff, which most people just find interesting and I don't mind answering some questions).

I don't come out to people as freely in person though (because it might be awkward, and I still look very male).... but if I start to get questioned on my gender, I will be pretty open with it. There are a group of people in my every day life that know though, and I don't mind chatting with them about trans stuff in public where others might overhear.

Basically, I was a guy (kind of?)... now I'm becoming a girl (kind of?)... I don't consider myself either one really, so "trans" is what I am instead. For anyone to have a problem with what I am, they better be able to back up why (and that might be a little difficult for them to do ... though, I'm open to making them look like a fool when they try :D).

Lol I used to use names like "harisu" and "pretty ->-bleeped-<-" while playing TF2 ... Oh and I picked girl names and girl characters every time I played RPGs before transitioning, I rememeber I told some I'm trans, so got interested and ask me questions while some bashed me
But in real live no, I won't reveal to people unless they are my true and good friends that I can trust

I'm a bit of a transgender crusader online. :'D If I see somebody bad-mouthing transgender people, I'll wade right in with my own experiences, even if it's me against about ten other people. XD I guess it's being a naturally talkative person in writing combined with years of staying silent about my gender. The funny thing is, most people who are the most cruel tend to balk as soon as they're confronted with an actual transgender person. It's fun watching the most spiteful, aggressive people shrink before you.

Offline, I'm a little more cautious, half because I'm very shy, and half because I fear for my safety sometimes. But so long as I don't fear actual physical violence, I'll happily come out to anyone if I think it'll serve a purpose. Of course up until recently I spoke in my male voice anyway, so it was kind of a giveaway when I spoke either way. :'D

I'd have been inclined to say, "Ya? You want to be my bitch?"
"Anyone who attempts to play the 'real transsexual' card should be summarily dismissed, as they are merely engaging in name calling rather than serious debate."
